Good infrastructure and facilities but a bit like a school.

Placements: Placements were good at our time. But it's totally dependent on your abilities to get placed. Infosys is the only mass recruiter which visits the college. For CS and IT branches, around 20 companies visit the campus. The highest package is around 7 lpa. For students of non CS and IT branches, very few companies visit the college. There is no provision for internship from the college management.

Time to think whether you should take admission in this college or not.

Placements: The placements in the CSE branch are quite average. If you are average in technical and communication skills, you will get placed in an average company giving you in between 2.2 to 3.5 lakhs. If you are good enough in technical skills, then you can expect around 4 to 4.5. Below average students don't get placed. If you need placement in this college, then you should opt for either CSE or IT branch. Overall, the placement of CSE is around 60 to 65 percent. Not many MNCs would visit our college ex...

Zero in the name of placement.

Placements: Placement of the college is very bad. The college does not cooperate very much with the students in their placements. Only one A-grade company visits the college i.e. Infosys. Other than that no good company visits the college ever. They don't invite any company which takes students in bulk. Mostly, students get a job on their own by applying outside.

Good but somewhat average as well because of lack of cultural and technological events.

Placements: Placements are fine, neither very good nor bad. The college has a tie-up with Infosys which is the only mass recruiter for students with an average pay of 3.25 LPA. Placements are only for the CS and IT branch students. Some companies are called for EC students as well.

Great infrastructure, nil placement.

Placements: Overall, the infrastructure and faculty members are good, but the college lacks in terms of placement. The one and only mass recruiter is Infosys and it merely takes 120 students out of 800-900 which is very low, and the rest of the companies take about 3 or 4 students. The maximum salary you can expect is 3.2 lacs. If you want to be placed through the campus placement process, avoid taking admission.

Satisfied with infrastructure and facilities but dissatisfied with placement related issues.

Placements: Placement in my college is not up to the mark. Although it is good or I would like to say it best for CS and IT branch students as most of the IT companies arrive in the college who require coders. Last year most of the students were unplaced. The average salary was 2.4 lac to 2.8 lac. Generally, Infosys as a mass recruiter visits in our college and takes 110-120 students. As college has to make or it is good to say that private college wants to maintain its status so they sometimes call BPOs so...

The college is not a good option to opt.

Placements: Hardly any core company visited the college to recruit mechanical students. The college provides plenty of opportunities for CS and IT students to get placed. However, no highly reputed company visits the college to offer placements.

Neither good placements not good faculties but still you can do good because of good crowd.

Placements: 10 to 15 companies came for placement and offered between 2.5 to 4.5 lakhs. Some pool campus opportunities are there which provide up to 6.5 lakhs. One major mass recruiter (most probably INFOSYS) will hire nearly one -fourth of the students. Training and placement cell is neatly managed by the department.

Please don't go for this college as it's only the brand name that is attached with AKGEC and nothing else. You will face a lot of difficulties during the placement time as the college does not support much placement assistance. If we talk about the college placement, it was the worst as only a few companies come here for placements. Faculty of this college is average and most of them don't even know what they are teaching in the class. They just read a book in front of the class.

The infrastructure of the college is good and the total area of the college is spread over 27 acres. The lecture theaters are good. For core branches like electronics, the placements are not good. If you want to get jobs in IT companies then you have many options. The faculty for some of the subjects is good but for other subjects is average. The hostel is also good for the fresher’s, as they have a separate hostel to prevent ragging. The discipline is strongly maintained in the campus as the ma...

Good location with good crowd and the labs are excellent.

Placements: The placements record for the mechanical branch is not that good as expected. Students go for either off-campus or for some competitive exams. Core companies that visit here are few like Bosch and some startups. The roles offered are a manufacturing process, designing and technical based. The highest salary may be 8 LPA to lowest 3 LPA. The college doesn't bother about the internship of students but provides projects to students.

Deemed as one of the best private colleges in Uttar Pradesh, it indeed was a delight to study in such a reputed institute. In terms of academics, AKGEC ensured best in class performance of its students. Many students make it to the university merit list every year. One of the best things about AKGEC is the infrastructure it provides to it students. However, I would be very honest when I say that the campus life sucks due to the innumerable rules and unwanted regulations that the college puts on ...

College is good as far as college life is concerned, but that’s true for students and infrastructure only. Beware of Management. Don’t ever expect any kind of support from them. No placement facility for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. In CS or IT the scenario is fairly good.

The College has beautiful walls, good to look at but when you scratch the surface the cracks start to appear. It has a nice Infrastructure and decent Faculty Members, but heavy reliability on IT companies for placements makes it vulnerable to market conditions. You will stiffle for freedom and creativity, the attendance process is quite rigid and strict.

1. A.K.G.E.C has a clean and green campus. From an architectural point of view, it is very well built, a huge and spacious campus. 2. It has various clubs both academic as well as cultural. 3. It is home to a national Robotics centre. 4. It has a separate placement and training cell. 5. It hosts an inter-college tech fest and a cultural fest each year. 6. The professors here are highly trained and approachable.

Although it boasts of several excellence awards and recognition from the university that is not reflected much in the teaching and curriculum. College is average, in terms of infrastructure. Buildings are good, but college overall is less spacious. Teaching is like school. Faculty simply wants you to study sincerely and score good marks in order to get a good rank in UPTU merit list. There is no focus on developing real world knowledge in students, only bookish knowledge is taught.
