Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Alpha Arts and Science College is the best choice.
Placements: Most of the high-placement jobs are available at top companies like TCS, Wipro, TATA, Infosys, Mahindra, Cognizant and so on. Placements will be given based on your talent and skills. If you have good skills, then you may get an opportunity in big MNC's.
Infrastructure: A neat and clean college environment has been maintained by the management, with a Wi-Fi facility, a library with lots of books and labs for science and computer-based subjects.
Canteen foods are really good and healthy, and if something happens to someone, the college will take care of all the medical expenses.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good at teaching; everything they do is easy to understand. Even after college hours, they are ready to solve our doubts and they conduct many tests and exams to improve our study skills.
The exams are not so difficult and the correction is also done in an easier manner so there are no worries about arrears.
Other: I had chosen BCA because I had a specific interest in computers and the development of software and they are teaching very well and also making us attend extra courses like the skillathon and the learnathon by the ICT Academy.

Good placements and good exam focused preparation.
Placements: My batch is BCA 2022 batch. Nearly more than 75% students have been placed from my batch in several companies and they have received offer letter within few months. The salary offered during the selection process ranges from 1.4 LPA to 4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and other top companies have recruited many students from my batch.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi facility available in the college campus and the library is decent which has many books and magazines for students and staffs. There is a computer lab which is very good and also a projector in the lab. As I was not into hostel Life I exactly don't know about it.
Faculty: The teachers teach us with great real life examples so that we can understand the concepts easily. In my course they teach us according to the syllabus. The semester exams are at moderate level and can be easily cleared with correct way of preparation which is guided by the teachers. The pass percentage is overall 40% which is in theory (external 75 marks out of which you should get minimum 30 marks) and in internal you should get 10 out of 25 marks with the help of assignments and monthly assessments.
Other: I chose this course because of my love towards computers and its components and also the career growth in computer field. My suggestion is to extend the lab classes like each day there should be one class for labs. There are many sports like cricket, football, etc. and also extra curricular activities. Some guests come to the college and there is a carnival function organised. There are two separate grounds, one is for cricket and and the another one is for basketball and volleyball.

The college campus is good.
Placements: It has good placements. Campus interviews begin in the sixth semester, making it the best choice to join the college. More than 55% of students were placed in our course. About 90% of students got internships from our course and in companies like Wipro and HP.
Infrastructure: The hostel is far away from the college, and they are arranging their own college bus for students. Labs, classrooms, and a library are available.
Faculty: They reduce the fee if you score more than 70% in +2. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams in this college are not difficult. The pass percentage is 80. They provide us with study materials in PDF format for better learning.
Other: Reservation is available for SC students. Mobile phones are not allowed.
