Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Satisfied with everything provided.
Placements: Speaking about the college, it has improved a lot since I joined; it has become more focused on practical knowledge. About placement, not many companies visit for campus and the placement rate is about 75%, at least for my stream. Sometimes it gets hard for students in our stream to get placed in core companies. We often have to opt for IT-based companies. Overall, the highest salary is 9 lakhs per annum. For my course, about 80% of students get internships at companies like DRDO as well as at small startups.
Infrastructure: Our course is provided with a department floor, where we have CAD and CFD labs. We also have an aerodynamics lab with wind turbines and a structure lab with many materials and design testing equipment. Speaking about hostels, for our course, especially for the students who enroll from faraway places, boys and girls have two hostel buildings separately with a luxurious stay area and water.
Faculty: For us, the curriculum was theory-based, but for juniors, it is upgraded and they have many skills. Speaking about faculty, we have south people for courses; they are friendly and helpful. They help us with projects and are also available to solve any problems at any time. Visits, trips and fun activities are also arranged .
Other: The college has just certified with an NAAC A+ grade.

Review of Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and Infosys. The average salary package offered was 4 PA. Internships are compulsory for students. Few students completed their internships with DRDO.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good in our college. Aerodynamics laboratory, structure laboratory, and CAD laboratory are well-maintained. Our campus is huge. Boys' and girls' hostels are also available. It provides a good library, and several books are available. Separate sports complex is also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. Our course curriculum is average, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. We also get practical and bookish knowledge in our college.

The college provides good infrastructure and friendly atmosphere.
Placements: In Maharashtra, there are only two colleges that provide the aeronautical engineering course by the government quota. Our college is one of those two colleges which provides education in aeronautical engineering. Around 40% of students from our college are placed by various IT companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is facilitated with free Wi-Fi available in classrooms and laboratories. The library avails various books to build knowledge about academics as well as non-academic study. College supports various activities on campus like sports, gathering, and various events.
Faculty: Our faculty members are strict about studies, discipline, and punctuality. They are very much supportive of other things. They even share friendly vibes with students. These things are to be made sure that students could face minimum problems while dealing with industrial people as well as the atmosphere over there.
Other: I was always curious about atmospheric things so I serached and got these college. The best thing about department is that people in this college are very much disciplined about study activity.

Our college is an autonomous Institute.
Placements: The only weak point of our college is placement. Only 10-15 students get placed every year because only a few of the companies visit our college every year. The great thing about the college is that it provides internships to students. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very great and beautiful. A number of trees surround the college. The overall college management is well. Even labs, library, departments and gymkhana are well connected. The biggest playground is provided by the college so that we can play any games. There are separate hostels for boys and girls and are well connected.
Faculty: Faculty members in our branch are well educated and PhD holders. They are always available for students if they have any doubts. They always try to cover every topic in detail. Most of the teaching is through PPTs. They give practical knowledge during lab sessions. Some of the faculty members are very friendly.
Other: As it is the best autonomous institute, many mega-events are conducted every year. Even there is an alumni meet every year. Senior students also conduct annual social gathering. Overall the course curriculum is very good.

Infracture, Facilities, Teaching is good.
Placements: To be honest, only 6 students were placed in campus interviews out of 60 students. The salary range didn't exceed 20,000 per month. There were many companies including TCS, Vipula, Hitech, etc. The highest package was 2,20,000 for a year. Students were able to intern at ISRO, DRDO, and many other course related companies. 10% students were able to do internship. There are many roles offered in my course including, Maintenance engineer, Quality control department, Planning department, Communication and Navigation control, etc.
Infrastructure: Yes, we do have special library for our course. And there are all labs required for the course. The hostel was very clean and there were no problems about cleanliness. The food quality is the issue in the mess. We have the biggest sports centre in the entire university. All kinds of sports can be played.
Faculty: The teachers are very much experienced. They have tremendous knowledge. And they are perfect regarding their subjects. The course makes students industry ready. The teaching quality is quite good and they do know what they are teaching about. The course curriculum is relevant and is helpful in getting more basic knowledge.
Other: Aeronautical engineering is a very interesting course. And we do have many opportunities in the future. I wish they should have visited us to a manufacturing place. The events are very interesting. Campus crowd is much but that's acceptable for my college. We get free limited Wi-Fi every day. However, the scholarship section is not quite helpful. They don't seem helpful. Extracurricular activities are promoted.
