AIEED Exam Pattern 2025 - Arch College of Design and Business is responsible for drafting the exam pattern of AIEED 2025.
The exam pattern will provide insights into the AIEED 2025 question paper structure - types of questions asked, marking scheme, exam mode, section-wise questions, weightage, etc.
So, by consulting the exam pattern you will know how to orient your exam preparation, for instance, whether to focus on objective or subjective-type questions.
As per the official exam pattern, the AIEED 2025 exam will include a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT).
The exam will be held online.
AIEED 2025 question paper will include 45-50 questions that have to be attempted in 3 hours. The total mark for the exam is 200.
The Creative Ability Test and the General Ability Test are designed to assess the design sensitivity, problem-solving and creative skills logical reasoning & awareness of global issues of the candidate.
AIEED exam question paper is bilingual, that is, questions are asked in both Hindi and English. AIEED offline exam can be answered in either of the languages. However, the online exam can be answered in English only.
Q: Â When will the AIEED exam be conducted?
The AIEED 2024 exam is being held from January 5-12, 2025. The exam will be conducted in an online mode over multiple slots. The candidate is required to select their exam slots when filling out the application form.
On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to bring their admit cards and a valid ID proof.

The online application form for AIEED 2025 opened on October 15, 2024.
The last date to fill out the application form is updated on the admission portal. Candidate who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria has to fill out the form before the last date.
Note that any candidate found using incorrect or misleading information could be disqualified.

In this section, candidates are evaluated based on design sensibilities, logical reasoning, design-related awareness, awareness on global issues, & concepts comprehension. In this exam, candidates need to attempt 60 questions in two hours duration. The maximum marks that aspirants can secure in this AIEED GAT is 100 marks.

Q: Â Do I need to appear in the AIEED entrance exam for admission to the BBA program?
Admission to the BBA courses is conducted based on merit of the qualifying exam, and no entrance exam is conducted. Direct admission is offered to the following programs:
- BBA in Design & Entrepreneurship
- BBA in Digital Marketing
- BBA in Event Management
- BBA in Fashion Business

In this section, candidates are evaluated on the basis of Articulation skills both written & visual, Design thinking, Lateral thinking & creative problem solving, & awareness of Design principles. In this exam, candidates need to attend 50 questions in three hours duration. The maximum marks that aspirants can secure in this AIEED CAT is 200 marks.

In this section, candidates are evaluated on the basis of Composure, Focus & clarity, General articulation skills, depth of thinking, a range of work in a portfolio. The duration of these tests is 30 minutes and candidates are evaluated out of 200 marks.Â

Q: Â At what time will the AIEED exam be conducted?
The AIEED exam is conducted in multiple slots:
Option 1: 10 am to 1 pm
Option 2: 2 pm to 5 pm
Option 3: 6 pm to 9 pm
The candidate have to select their preferred slot at the time of filling out the appication form. On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards.

To be considered for admission to the UG program, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must have appeared for/cleared their 10+2
- Students appearing in 10+2 exam can also apply. Such candidates will be eligible for direct admission in the academic session commencing in 2024 provided they clear the interaction and PoA (Portfolio of Abilities) stage.
