Not so satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement is not so good. Companies are coming in our college, but the post offered in those companies is very poor. The college is showing that they are providing good campus placements but in reality, they are just making an illusion of that. Also, there is limited no. of core companies. Maximum companies are IT companies. At last, but not least, we always have to travel to Kolkata or to different cities most of the time. The no. of companies that come and conduct recruitment process in our college is very low.
Infrastructure: The college has a pretty good no. of labs and equipment. But most equipment is broken or does not work properly. There are some broken instruments that cost a large amount of money, but they are not even trying to repair it or buying a new one instead of that. Some labs do not have all the equipment at all. Some labs have too old systems and instruments, but they refuse to change it.
Faculty: In our department, the no. of teachers is very less. Some teachers treat the students like they are nothing but garbage. While students of some departments are treated like kings and queens. This should not be there. All the faculty members are not so called good or bad. Some teachers are good, some pretend to be good and some are worst. Some teachers help their students in their study and other curriculum activities. There are very less no. of teachers in some departments. In some departments, the ratio of the students and teacher is good.
