A good place for gaining knowledge and well enough to get a job.
Placements: Placements for post graduates are not good here. Mainly you get a chance in TCS placement program. All the other companies come here for under graduate students. So, if you are looking for a industrial/private/IT sector job after M.Tech, this is not your place. But if you want to go to teaching section, you will get a good guidance here. You can prepare yourself for research purpose also.
Infrastructure: There's nothing bad to say about the college infrastructure. Everything is good enough here. The classrooms are well maintained. In every lab you get internet facility. Most of the parts of the campus are WiFi enabled. The library facility is great here. You can borrow 6 books in a semester. The college has a huge playground and a gym inside its campus. You will get first aid treatment in college, but in case of emergency, the college supports students well.
Faculty: No doubt the teaching quality is good here. In case of teaching for M.Tech students, only faculty with PhD is allowed here. Most of the faculty members are well experienced and maintain a quality teaching process. In case of doubt clearance and other exam preparation, every faculty member helps you in your need. From job to higher studies to research, you get a good helping hand from the college.
Other: This college is not a so-called high profile college but it makes your profile high. This college is not well known for post graduate courses but if you want some knowledge, you can choose it. This college gives good placements to the under graduates but when it comes to post graduates the scenario changes. If you are looking to do research, you can gather a lot of experience and knowledge from this place.

Asansol Engineering College is both a study place and a second home to students.
Placements: Placements in our college were good, and companies like L&T, Wipro, Smelters Ltd, BHEL, etc., visit our college for placements. The college is very good, and it is a raging-free campus. It is like a second home to students. Salary packages offered by different companies are also sufficient.
Infrastructure: The college bears a good rank in terms of infrastructure, and there is sufficient space for all the branches. The college is just at the side of the bypass road, which connects Chittaranjan to Asansol. There is an air of intelligence on the campus. The college has a library, canteen and playground. Surroundings of the college are also good. There is an availability of all the things needed for daily use.
Faculty: The college offers different types of courses like diploma in EE, diploma in ME, diploma in ETC, diploma in CS. There are adequate teachers, and the student to teacher ratio is very good. Teachers are much better to communicate with students, and they play the main role to develop students. This college is affiliated to AICTE.
