Is B.E./B.Tech at AWH Engineering College Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current and former students, here's a summary of what you can expect:

    Placement and Salary
    * Average placement rate: around 20%
    * Maximum salary offered: INR20,000 per month
    * Beginner roles are often offered, and students may face difficulties getting good placements
    * Some batches have seen higher placement rates (around 60%), but these are exceptions

    Infrastructure and Facilities
    * Limited infrastructure, especially in terms of laboratories and projectors
    * Wi-Fi availability is unreliable
    * Hostel conditions are average, and the food is decent
    * Library resources are limited, and the building itself is large but underutilized

    Teaching Quality
    * Mixed bag when it comes to teacher quality - some are helpful, while others are not
    * Course curriculum is somewhat outdated, making it challenging for students
    * Exam questions are generally good, but multiple-choice questions can be tricky

    Other Aspects
    * Campus atmosphere is friendly, with plenty of greenery and fresh air
    * Festivals and events could be improved upon
    * Medical facilities are readily available

    Overall Value
While AWH Engineering College has its strengths, such as affordable fees and decent medical facilities, the low placement rate, lackluster infrastructure, and inconsistent teaching quality might make it a tough sell for some students. Ultimately, whether or not B.E./B.Tech at AWH Engineering College is worth the investment depends on individual priorities and expectations.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure and facilities. Placements are average.
Placements: Only 20% of students get placed. The packages are very affordable; the maximum of INR 20,000 per month is the salary of an average student. There is no specific top recruiting company. 30% of students get internships. Beginner roles are offered. Don't expect very good placements, as this is a private college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but only some times, labs are very dirty, individual performances are lower, classrooms are okay, and the library is huge but of no use. The hostel is also average, not painted since built, and the food is also average. They will take care of medical emergencies.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but most of them are not good. Teaching quality is poor; we don't even have a working projector. Pass percentage: 60–75%. Teachers are very selective, and some teachers are only good with selected students. They will reduce internal marks if they don't like the students.

    Review of AWH Engineering College.
Placements: About 65% of students get placements from our batch. Computer science field is easy to get jobs. Internships are commonly less here. The fee is attractive compared to other colleges. Students who are passed out with a good score will get placements. Many companies visit here, but I didn't get good scores. Overall, our college is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure needs to be improved because students studying computer science want better technological facilities. Games, food, hostels and medical facilities are good enough. One thing is the mess fee is less, which is really an advantage. Overall, I will give a rating of 3 stars out of 5 stars to our college.
Faculty: The quality of exams is important here, and they provide a good environment for exams and good quality questions. Exams are easy for those who study well and attend classes. Multiple choice questions seem to be tricky, and those questions are much harder. Overall, the exams conducted here are good. Teachers have the limit to explain.
Other: Actually, I chose a computer science field as per my interest. There is no need to improve my course as it is fine. I really miss my campus life, my best friends and the teachers. The fest organised is average and needs to be improved. Campus surroundings are environment-friendly and contain fresh air and water.

Good faculty members but poor campus life.
Placements: Placements are average in my college. Even The students who have no backlogs has not placed from here. So placements are comparatively low in this college. They should facilitate more opportunities and recruitments to students. There are many communities like tinker hub, IEEE in college which actually helps in placements.
Infrastructure: Recently the college infrastructure has improved a lot. They have reconstructed the college building and it? S quiet good now. Hostel is also good. Hostel food is also good. Sports and games are less in this college. Art fest and teach fest are pretty good and engaging.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and teaches us very well. It is not so difficult to pass exams. Lectures are nice and well understandable. The lab facilities are well maintained. Exams and lectures are based on Kerala technical University syllabus.
Other: Events are so less in this college. The major events are teach fest and art fest other than that there are no other big programs. If they improve their events and fest it would be more good.

Placements: About 60% of students got placed in my batch. It is easy to get a job, but internships are usually less. The fee is attractive compared to other colleges. Those who pass out with a good score will get placed. Many companies come here, but we can't get placed. Overall, it is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure needs to be improved because the mechanical students need to learn things practically. The teachers have the limit to explain. Games, food, hostels, and medical facilities are good enough. The mess fee is less, that's really an advantage. Overall, I can give it about 3 stars.
Faculty: The quality of exams is important, and they provide a good environment for exams. Good questions are asked in papers. Exams are easy for those who study well and attend the classes. Multiple choice questions seem to be tricky, and those questions are much harder. Overall, exams conducted are good.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering with my interest. There is no need to improve the course, as the course is okay. I really miss my campus life, my best friends and teachers. Fests are okay but need to be improved. Campus surrounding are friendly and have fresh air. Water facilities are good.

The college is located on a hill with good ambience.
Placements: Very few students got placed. 15,000 is the minimum salary offered. The maximum salary is 50,000 per year. Many companies associated with the electrical and electronics course come for campus placements. After studying this course, you can get a job like sub engineer in KSEB, and chief electrical engineering in many hotels, hospital and buildings.
Infrastructure: There is a lab facility for every subject in every stream. The college has Wi-Fi connection, both Jio and BSNL. The college does not offer a hostel for boys. There is a girls' hostel near this college. The college conducts many programs like sports. Internship programs are also available.
Faculty: In this college, the faculty members are very good at teaching. My course is very difficult compared to other engineering courses. In the first year, this course offers you basic subjects like basic mechanical engineering, basic civil engineering, basic electrical and electronics engineering, graphics and other basic subjects.

    I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: Our college is one of the prestigious colleges in Calicut. About 20 to 30% of students get placements, and about 60% of students got an internship from our college. More than 15 companies are recruiting students from here.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi, labs, the library and many things. Quality of food provided for students in our college canteen is good. The hostel is up to the level of a three-star hotel with affordable price. Our college provides good medical facilities and conducts sports and games. It has the largest labs in Kerala.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated and take good care for us. This course curriculum is relevant because, in future, the demand for an electrical engineer will increase. This course opens a wide variety of other job opportunities. Online classes are conducted in every week.
Other: I have chosen this course because our world and technology are changing day by day, and it needs an electrical touch everywhere. I have chosen this course because in future demands for an electrical engineer will increase.
