Review of Bangalore Technological Institute.
Placements: Placements were good for other branches except mechanical engineering. They need to bring companies for mechanical engineering too. Comparatively, the student count is decreasing every year because placements were not good. Almost 60% of students are placed every year. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, HGS, and many other companies provided jobs for students. We did our internships at Sansu Automotives Pvt Ltd. The top role offered was an assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: They had Wi-Fi, but students didn't have access to it. Wi-Fi was used only for the systems we use in labs. The systems in the labs were not too good and upgraded. They must provide better equipment for a mechanical laboratory. Classrooms were clean and tidy which made students feel comfortable. The library was good but small. The collection of books was not so appreciable. Hostel food was not worth our money and some rules were unnecessary and questionable. The medical facility was not available. They just have a first-aid kit which we never saw getting used. We didn't have a good playground for all kinds of games. They didn't give scope for sports as much as other colleges do.
Faculty: They had excellent faculty members with intense knowledge and supportive characteristics. They treated students very well. They were not permanent. They always changed faculty members every semester. They taught us course-related things which help us to pass or score. The pass percentage of students every semester was 70%.
Other: They gave more importance to sports as well as cultural events. They need the development of laboratories and systems. We have scope for placements of mechanical engineering students.

BTI is good at infrastructure, teaching facilities, and average at campus life and placement.
Placements: The placements for the 2013-2017 batch was just okay. The major companies took part in the job fair were IBM, Wipro, Iffco-Tokio, Samsung, etc. Most of the placements were from computer and electronics branch. The average package was 1.5 lacs per annum. Coming to the mechanical and civil, most of the students got placed in the non-technical companies. The performance of these branches was poor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at BTI is average I would say as of now. The college is in a stage of development, and the developments are happening progressively. The college is occupied with a full Wi-Fi campus, and the campus is well-monitored. The library has some advanced lab facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members at BTI were young and are well-qualified, The two lecturers teach most of the subjects, and the teaching quality was good. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. From the first year onwards, the students are taken for the industrial visits and thus ensuring the proper industry exposure.

I am disappointed after getting into the campus.
Placements: To be honest, there are fewer chances for a student here to get a job through the campus recruitment, because the management is not settled down completely with the campus recruitments. Still, a few number of companies are there for a less number of recruitments, if you are lucky enough then you can go through.
Infrastructure: There is not much greenery on the campus. It will be too hot outside the classroom because of lack of greenery outside. There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus. The labs are pretty good. The library and the classrooms are also acceptable. There are no medical facilities inside the college, The canteen and the hostel food is a total mess.
Faculty: We can count on a few faculty members who are giving 100% of their profession, but most of the faculty members are lazy and differentiating the students with a language. The student to faculty ratio is 45:1. The management is greedy for money, and you won't be able to attend the final exams if you have even Rs. 500-fee due.
Other: There are events as such. I didn't even hear the word scholarship in my 4-year tenure there. There will be a sports day and an art day like in our primary classes.

Other: It’s a good college. Since it is a newly started one, it has got some infrastructural limitations. The staffs are friendly and encouraging. The gate would be closed as soon as the college starts. Can't go out after that. The principal Dr. H. S Nanda is really helpful when any fee due is there. No problems to get the hall ticket due to it.
