Dissatisfied with placements, but knowledge is wealth and pretty good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements play a good role in identifying the college, but the placement cell and the placement officer here has no value. Only two or three companies offer the placement in this college like TCS and Mindtree. The placement cell has to develop a lot. Brilliant students do face problems like they are being pushed into a herd of sheep.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. It has a very well maintained library, best departments and best equipment to take the student to another level. The college has a huge playground for extracurricular activities with an indoor stadium for badminton and table tennis. The campus goes with a thought of "Go green, keep clean", and has many student associations like IEEE and MEA, where students have the opportunity to participate in many activities. The campus has the mini-hospital to undertake any emergencies.
Faculty: The faculty of all the departments are best in their simian. My department has few lecturers with best basic and advanced knowledge of logic design, signals and systems, microcontroller, control systems and advanced control systems. Practical and theoretical methods combined with industrial trips are taught here. Some departments like mechanical, civil, electrical and electronic departments have a less number of faculty to student ratio, but other departments like instrumentation engineering, E and C, information technology has the best in business.
