Bcet Review by Bijoy Adhikary
Placements: More than 80% of students placed in the 2024 batch, including TCS, Cognizant, Skolar, Chorizo, Teachnook, Amazon, etc., big companies come to B-Tech colleges. The highest package is 10 lakh, and the lowest package is 2 lakh. The medium average is 4 lakh per annum. The college does not provide any internships. Students are encouraged to try for internships off campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is impressive. All blocks are separate from each other: CST, Core, CE, and me. So it looks neat and clean. Also, the college library is located on the college campus, and there are so many engineering books and competitive exam books. And in the college lab, the computers are good, but some labs’ computers are very old, so this is a negative point. But all labs have AC, but the college campus does not have Wi-Fi for students.
Faculty: In the BCET college, there are maximum teachers qualified with MTech, and some teachers are qualified with PhD. So, it’s good for both teachers and students. Teachers also help students every time; they are very friendly. They take it as just a spoken class and an extra coding class for the students. The college is under the AICTE and MAKUT, so it’s quite difficult to pass the semester exam, but if the students study in the whole semester, they will pass easily.
Other: In the college, there are so many games and competitions organised: coding competition, game competition, cricket competition, football competition, etc. Every year, the college organises a fest for students, and in the college, there are so many scholarships available, like Swami Vivekananda scholarship, Kanyasree scholarship, etc.

Good college and nice friends.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is 85%. I am a student of the IT course, so in our course, the highest package is 14 LPA and the lowest package offered is 7 to 9 LPA. Many recruiting companies are hiring students from our college, like HTC, Deloitte, and LLP, etc. The internship opportunities in our course are 41%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, and facilities are good, like WiFi on campus. Labs are well-equipped with international systems and equipment. Classrooms are well-equipped, and the library has all types of books. Sports and other activities are conducted, and our playground is big, so it is best for running.
Faculty: Teachers have high knowledge in Information Technology. Our teachers have higher degrees, and their teaching quality is good. They make students ready for the industry. The course curriculum is relevant to IT. The semester exams are hard to pass. The pass percentage in our course is 58%.

Placements: Almost 60-65% of students were placed in CSE and IT branch. Some top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Patanjali, Amazon, Capgemini, L&T etc. No one students got internship for computer Science and information technology branch students. The top roll offered is software engineer in CSE and IT branch.
Infrastructure: The institute has good classrooms, labs, a central library and a playground where students can play basketball, volleyball, cricket, football and much more. Hostel room are below average food is available in the canteen and the hostel rooms are average.
Faculty: Courses are completed before semester end internal exams are conducted on timely labs and classes are conducted regularly overall college is good for low fee and good study. Our teacher are very helpful in order to provide knowledge some of our teacher are very experienced and qualified semester exams are bit harder because you don't know from where the question is come some times max. Questions come from one chapters the passing percentage is above 40% .
Other: I chose this course because like this course and explore my knowledge in the field of IT industry there are many clubs in our college, which keeps on organizing fests, and functions and all types of competition. Labs and classes and teachers should need improvement.
