Overall, this is a good college. I am happy with this.

Placements: Bidhannagar College is popular for B.Sc. Economics. This department offers an undergraduate programme. Our department has a 76% placement record. The highest salary package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. This course placement depends on your interests.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are 7 libraries available for college students, as well as a public library. College students can visit the library anytime they want, but they need their ID card. Wi-Fi 5G network available in college; we have state-of-the-art labs and classrooms.

Faculty: Teachers are very good at our college and they have experience. They give their efforts to make students industry-ready. Our semester exam is difficult but not impossible to pass. In our department, 95% of students get passes. Our college gives us all types of facilities to complete our projects.

Placements: As a current B.Sc. Economics student at Bidhannagar Government College, I've observed that 65% of students from our batch secured placements. Around 53% of students obtained internships, with organizations such as the Economic Research Bureau and Finance Dynamics providing valuable opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college provides adequate infrastructure for the B.Sc. Economics course. Classrooms are equipped with the necessary amenities and the library is well-stocked with relevant academic resources. The hostel facilities are decent, with comfortable rooms, but there is variability in food quality at the mess and canteen.

It is an affordable college.

Placements: It is not a professional course. Our college doesn't provide good placements. Students have to find placements by themselves. Placements are average.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure should be improved like Wi-Fi and labs. We don't have lab classes for our course. Labs are not very advanced. The library is good. The food served in the canteen is good. There are some good restaurants and stalls outside the college.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Some teachers are not helpful. They guide us. They provide good knowledge. They provide PDFs. The course curriculum is relevant compared to other government colleges. Exams are not difficult. Almost 70% of students pass the exams.

Other: Our seniors are helpful.
