Always been proud to be a Heberian and I would totally recommend BHC .
Placements: We have both self finance and aided classes. Self finance had two class one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Feels are very affordable compared to other colleges. College had also ranked well in NIRF. For Chemistry recruiters from educational institutions, pharma companies, etc. Department arrange internship for students for a day, and it's students wish to get to a lab or institutions for long term internships.
Infrastructure: College has a beautiful environment surrounded by greenaries and lots of birds. About infrastructure, classrooms are good with all facilities. All classrooms are provided with projectors and screens. Chemistry labs are so good and has all basic requirements. College has an amazing instrumentation lab which has sophisticated instruments which makes it easy for students. College has a big library with books of all genres. Hostels are well maintained and food is so good for hostel. Timely food of good quality. There is an medical centre inside college and just outside college we have a hospital and government hospital is just 5 minutes away from college. Various sports are played and students are coached. College has also won may awards for academics as well as sports. Also for cultural we have fine arts association that helps and encourages students in cultural activities like dance, singing, and few more.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. All aided staffs are Ph.D. holders and many have done their higher studies abroad. Teachers have wide research exposure too. Curriculum is relevant and is well designed such a way that it helps students face competitive exams and also industry ready. Semester exams are mainly focused on making students apply what they've learned and not just write paragraphs from books. For UG it's 35 and for PG it's 50 pass percentage.
Other: Chemistry department is mainly focused on academics and more of academic related activities. College has various intra and inter college events that encourages students to bring out their talents and Abilities. Various scholarships are provided and many student receive concession in fee due to family situations. College also encourages various extracurricular activities like NSS, NCC, red ribbon club, nature club, fine arts association and various other clubs. We have a well-equipped gym inside the campus.

Review of Bishop Heber College.
Placements: There are more placement opportunities, but the salary packages offered are not as much expected. By doing only UG alone, you will get very less salary package. If you do PG, then you get jobs with good salary package. But the amount of core related job recruitment is less. When you directly appear for any recruitment, our college students will get a good response from the company.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all the facilities needed for students. Our college provides 4 boys, 5 girls hostel and 3 mess for the hostel students. The campus is under CCTV surveillance. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi facility. There are so many labs for each department. Our chemistry department alone had 6 labs.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and experienced. But the self-finance section mostly has newly recruited staff. Staff members of the college give equal importance to both theory and practical learning. In the final year, they will conduct an industrial visit for students.

The college campus is very good.
Placements: In this college, we have so many placements. The companies come from abroad for recruiting. Yearly they are nearly 1000 students are selected for placement. In every department, HOD conducts placement meetings in each department separately. They have separate staff for the placement division.
Infrastructure: There is good hostel accommodation in our college. The hostel fees are very low compared to other colleges. The food is worth and healthy. They gave unlimited food. The mess fees are very low Rs.1800 per month for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They gave healthy food and weekly for three days they give non-vegetarian.
Faculty: All Teachers are experienced. All completed their PhDs and teachers are friendly with students. They give full support to students for achieving their goals. They give some life lessons and they are good friends to students. Sometimes the students do not give respect to the staff.
Other: Over freedom for girls.
