Absolutely dissatisfied because of bad infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: 10% of students were placed in our course. 1.5 LPA was the average package offered in our course. The top recruiting company for our course is Tata Consultancy Services. 60% of students got internships from our course in WBPDCL. Electric technician roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our hostel and classrooms, but the internet speeds are too slow. The quality of the facilities in our hostel, the food available in the mess, and the canteen were very bad. Primary medical facilities are available. Sports and games are available.
Faculty: Yes, here the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. Yes, is this course curriculum relevant? Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The syllabus wasn't completed before the semester exam, so students face difficulties in the semester exam. The pass percentage is 40%.

Really Good Infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Every year, 80% students get placed in many companies. Last year, college had its highest placement with 98% and average package was 5.0 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TATA, TCS, IBM, HCL, Hexaware, Wipro etc. College also offers good internship companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good containing Administrative building, College buildings and buildings for library, computer centre, laboratories, staff quarters, separate hostels for boys and girls, a huge playing ground, Facilities are also good such as spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a good air-conditioned library with book bank facility and sufficient stock of books and journals. Hostels are good with good internet facility, coll canteen serves really good equal of food. In spi, we have football, volleyball, cricket, basketball, table tennis and also have gymnasium separately for boys and girls.
Faculty: The teachers are really good and well qualified and highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, they make students ready for any industrial training. Semester exams are moderated, the quality of questions are very high and passing marks for semester exam is 40%.

The placement cell should be improved.
Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. Very few students got placed from 2015-2019 electrical batch. The same case happens in other courses also. TCS visited our campus and hired many students than other companies. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. One or two companies offered an internship for some students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are really good. Our college offers six courses, i.e., EE, ME, ECE, CSE, AEIE and IT. It is a B.Tech college. Wi-Fi facility is available in college hours. There are sufficient lab and equipment. Classrooms are available in the college. I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful, but not all. Some teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. They have working experience. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready.

I am very satisfied with this college. It has good infrastructure, placements and facilities.
Placements: A maximum number of the students got placement in various companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., with a good salary package. Students also get placement through off-campus. The college also provides an internship in various companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is only one college in West Bengal which provides 10 hostel building for both boys and girls. For 1st and 2nd year students, it provides 4-sharing rooms. But 3rd and 4th year students get personal rooms. Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has good laboratories with various equipment which help students to gain practical knowledge.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and friendly. They help students not only in studies but also in doing other things like sports, projects, etc. Faculty members are highly talented. They have good knowledge. They also motivate students to work in IT sectors as well as in industries.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like this subject. Every year the college organises tech fest and cultural fest for two days. The college provides different scholarships for students. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the management of the college except from that everything is good.
Placements: Last year from my course 60% students were placed. The highest salary was 4.6 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was 2.4 Lacs per annum. The students were mainly hired for assistant engineer and solution Engineer. The major recruiting company was Rockwell Automation.
Infrastructure: 1. We have a very good infrastructure and free Wi-Fi zone in our college, labs are so useful and stuffed with new technological instruments. We have a library collaboration with Central Library that remains open until 8.00 p. m. 2. Hostel room are pretty good with Wi-Fi facilities. Bathrooms are not so good. Quality of mess food is average. For medical purpose, we have government Hospital beside our college. Our college has different grounds and equipment for different sports also.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are so helpful except some of them. They are highly qualified. They are very knowledgeable. But their teaching techniques are not so good. 2. Yes. This course is curriculum relevant. One can get a job on this course and it makes the students industry ready.
Other: 1. I chose this course because I love instruments and in today's world instrumentation is at the highest peak. 2. More instruments and more digital study technology could be used to better my course. 3. In our college, we have Annual technical and cultural fest, very wide campus surrounding and both the electrical and internet connectivity. And here one can apply for scholarship too.
