GMIT is a great college at Baruipur.
Placements: About 59% of the students from our course got placed in the previous year. Different companies like Byju's, Lido Learning, Star Cement, PS Group, Hind Rectifier, Regal Service, Manikaran, Patton, Bassetti, Kone Elevator and krypton visit our college to hire our senior students. Our college also provides an internship opportunity in companies like Danieli India, Patton, PS Group, Star Cement, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has different labs, and every lab is well-equipped. We also perform different experiments under the guidance of our faculty members. There are two canteens at the college premises. Quality of food served to the students is excellent. There is a huge and great playground at our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are from IIT, JU and BESU. Faculty members are great and well-knowledgeable. They support us as a mentor. They also motivate us about our life and studies. The course curriculum helps us to apply the knowledge of engineering and technology in real-time problem-solving.
Other: I chose this course because I like machines since my childhood. In the middle of the year, our college conducts an annual fest. Our college offers an awesome environment. Our department conducts both co-curricular and extracurricular activities regularly.

This college is not bad, I think the study process is more helpful for learning.
Placements: In this college, the placements are not good, but I can say it is average. Last year few students got a job from this college. Their starting salary is near Rs. 15000 per month to Rs. 18000 per month. They joined a company as a junior engineer. Microsoft, Oppo companies, visited the college.
Infrastructure: GMIT has all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports, and games etc. The classrooms are good for students and teachers also. Some classrooms have projectors also because to explain the students more clearly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and they are very friendly with students. All teachers are trying very hard to teach. Some subjects are taught by using projectors. AutoCAD, a new course was started in this college. The faculty of all department helps anytime other than class time for learning.
Other: Every year the college students organises a fest.
