{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is CBIT Good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT):

Pros:

* Good Placement Opportunities: CBIT has a strong reputation for placing its students in top companies such as Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, Oracle, Amazon, and others. The highest package offered is around 60 LPA, with an average package of 10-20 LPA.
* Experienced Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, with many holding Ph.D.s. They are known for being helpful and supportive, with some even going beyond their duties to assist students.
* Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, a spacious library, and comfortable classrooms.
* Festivals and Clubs: CBIT hosts several festivals and clubs, providing students with opportunities to develop their skills and interests outside of academics.
* Internships: Students can opt for internships, with many companies visiting the campus to recruit interns.

Cons:

* Hostel Issues: Some students reported issues with the hostel, including poor food quality and limited facilities.
* Limited Freedom: Students felt that there was limited freedom in the hostel, requiring parental consent for certain activities.
* Summer Heat: Classes can get uncomfortably hot during the summer season, with no air conditioning in the classrooms.
* Curriculum: Some students felt that the curriculum could be improved, with some subjects feeling outdated or irrelevant.

Overall, CBIT seems to be a good option for students seeking a strong educational foundation and promising job prospects. While there are some areas for improvement, the college's reputation for placements, experienced faculty, and good infrastructure make it a viable choice.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for MCA Programs at CBIT

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's an assessment of the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT:

* Limited Information: Unfortunately, there is limited information available about the placement cell's performance and activities.

* No Specific Feedback: None of the reviewed statements specifically mention the placement cell or its effectiveness.

As such, it is challenging to assess the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT based on the provided information. However, this may indicate that the college does not actively promote or highlight their placement efforts, or that the placement process is relatively smooth and efficient without significant issues.

If you're interested in learning more about the placement cell or seeking guidance on career development, I recommend reaching out to the college administration or speaking with current students/alumni who have gone through the program.

Q:   Is MCA at CBIT worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

* Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with modern facilities, although MCA students don't have access to hostels.
* Faculty: Excellent faculty with Ph.D. qualifications, providing guidance and clearing doubts.
* Course Curriculum: Industry-relevant curriculum with regular updates, preparing students for placements.
* Placements: Good placement record with top companies visiting campus, offering packages ranging from INR5-10 LPA (average) to INR8-10 LPA (the highest).
* Competition: Compared to B.Tech placements, MCA placements may face more competition due to fewer students opting for the program.
* Career Prospects: While the highest package may not be as high as B.Tech, the faculty believes that with strong skills, students can secure placements in top companies.
* Campus Life: Events and festivals organized by the college are enjoyable, and the campus has good connectivity and surroundings.
* Library and Resources: One of the finest libraries in the country, providing access to nearly 100,000 books and resources.
* Support System: Faculty members focus on helping average students, making themselves available for doubt-clearing sessions.

Overall, while MCA at CBIT might not offer the same level of placements as B.Tech, the college's infrastructure, faculty, and resources make it a worthwhile investment for those interested in pursuing a career in computer applications. However, it's essential to consider the competitive nature of the job market and the need for strong skills to secure top placements.

It is the best college to study in.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 54 LPA and the average salary package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Paytm, JPMC, and MRF. Around 80% of students get placed every year. More than 70% of students get internships in top MNCs like Deloitte, ITC, HCL, MRF, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is beautiful with good and positive environment. Classrooms are well designed. Wi-Fi is available in the surroundings of our college. Food served in the mess and canteen is good. There are separate medical rooms and sports rooms with all the basic facilities.
Faculty: Our college plays an important role in its academics. All the lecturers are skilled, well-qualified, good, and friendly with students. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 80%. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course as it is the best course for students to learn machine learning to enter these fields. Many events and fests take place in our college. The major fests are Robovanza, Shruthi, and Synapse.

Everything about CBIT, Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements were good compared to other colleges in the same tier. Almost all students from CSE and IT allied branches may get placed, and the average package lies between 9-10 LPA for these branches. Internship offers are not on-campus. Some companies mandate that before recruitment, they will select some students for internships, and only after that can they join as employees.
Infrastructure: The hostel was not at all good; it was a very old building. However, many hostels nearby were good. Wi-Fi was not available in classrooms and labs; instead, we had ethernet in labs. The college also lacks many present facilities as it was built a long time ago. The mess food is reasonably priced and tasty.
Faculty: The faculty were very strict. Few of them are knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging, while most of them have half-knowledge and are unaware of the subject. The teaching quality is okay for core subjects. The curriculum feels good and aligned with the outer world, comparable to other branches and colleges. Exams are manageable.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with current trends. It could be better if more practical components were included rather than just theory. Only one major event was conducted, i.e., SHRUTHI and SUDHEE for a week in February. It's okay, but don't expect too much from it.

Absolutely satisfied because I was an average student in studies. I couldn't get into IITs or NITs.
Placements: The placement cell is good; almost all students get placed in my branch and companies are also good; they offer handsome packages. Amazon, Infosys, and TCS are top recruiters. Many students get internship in 3rd year in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, etc.; they offered the roles of developer, programmer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful and has good infrastructure. The mess food is good and hygienic. The entire campus is provided with WIFI and there is a grand library installed with thousands of books to provide a good environment for students to study in. Laboratories are installed with the best quality equipment.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified; they teach really well; they are helpful and supportive .they put in all their efforts. My course is AIML. This course is in too much demand now as AI is taking away the world Developing AI is what you need this semester. Exams are difficult; they are made to improve your capabilities and your thinking capacity and let you think outside the box.
Other: AIML was a requirement at the time. Learning AI is the best thing a person can do now that we learn new things, enjoy our work and can create or develop AI. Lots of events took place on campus. There is a 15-day induction period after the annual fests, tech fest and different clubs. The campus is equipped with sports complex that provides a bit of indoor and outdoor sports like cricket, football, table tennis, etc.

Review of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
Placements: Almost 120 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Amazon, Accenture, etc. Almost 96% of students are available in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. Our college has a huge cafeteria, Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a hostel, etc. Labs are good. Our college has one of the biggest libraries in Telangana.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Our college follows the OU syllabus.
Other: This course has all types of coding languages. They should improve some sports facilities.
