It’s an affordable college as there are many people out there looking for budget friendly colleges.
Placements: Around 70% students were placed. You cannot get placed until you get a good CGPA, so study well first and join random companies with normal packages which you can change later. The highest package offered might be 5LPA and the lowest may be 1LPA. TCH visits for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides labs, classrooms and a library which are fine but there is no basketball court. There is a cricket ground available. Sports activities held are not bad and they are conducted often. It is a good college and not as bad as it seems. The canteen has now improved, it was very bad ealier.
Faculty: The teachers are fine and their teaching quality is good, not bad. The passing percentage is around 70%. The teachers are good so you need not worry about that. The students should be ready to study on their own and not just depend on the faculty. The lab teachers are fine and the students are made ready for industry.
Other: Computer Science is the best course in 2024, so it’s better to choose this college. Fest will not be conducted often but it’s fine.

Review of City Engineering College.
Placements: They do not have top companies like Microsoft for placements but they do have some small companies. And also, from knowing about placements from seniors in college, the probability of getting placed is very low. Overall, if we see and from the information that I know, the placements at this college are average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is average. All the labs do not have wi-fi but some labs have internet access. The chairs, desk, and tables could be better equipped. And the CSE seminar hall could be more beautifully made. Overall, the infrastructure is average.
Faculty: Regarding the faculty, they are very supportive and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is completely relevant and if we concentrate, it will definitely make students ready for industry. Semester exams are conducted by VTU. The pass percentage could be above 60%.
Other: College is good regarding studies, faculty, and activities, but it lack good ground and a place for sports. It is also not that great for placements.

Satisfied with my college.
Placements: It got good placement, and every year 60 to 70% get placed. The highest offered in our college is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA, with the average being 4-6 LPA. According to me, it is average when it comes to placements, and you can choose other colleges if you are aiming for placement.
Infrastructure: It has a good spacious library and a good campus. There is Wi-Fi available all over the campus, and it has a canteen in which the food is not so good. Sports are also encouraged; every semester, inter-college matches will be there. When it comes to classrooms, they are spacious.
Faculty: Good teaching staff and exams are conducted in a good way. Teachers are also friendly to students, and they talk to students in a good manner. They won't disagree with your points; instead, they will teach you what it actually is. They support you in academics.

Satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: We get go companies for our college so, many companies offer a job in their company. There was a quiet improvement in placements from my super seniors, and there are placement department and place officers who are keen on the placement of the students. Many companies have visited the campus, and many of my seniors are placed. The placement cell and placement officer are student-friendly. Good companies will come to the college like Ola, HCL, Infosys, TCS, etc. There is a placement cell for the students to help in getting recruited and good management for placing students in good companies and there is a placement training centre. As per my knowledge, our college placements are good. Our college also provides the coaching required for placements. But, seniors say that they are not getting a proper placement and they are cheated by the college. The college management is telling that they are giving good placements to the students who are passing out. Since ours is a CS batch, the placements for our branch are somewhat okay. About 20 to 30 percent of CS students get placed in different companies. Training for an interview and recruitment are regularly given to the student. Every year the placements are good. The placement for civil engineering is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well organized as we have two blocks namely the admission block and the CS block. We have the mechanical and electrical and communication in the admission block. We have computer Science and civil engineering in the CS block. We have good Wi-Fi in the library.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and few need to improve for betterment. The syllabus will be covered decently. There are separate teaching staff in the area of courses. Currently running 8n the choice-based credit system under the vtu. For the third year, there is an improved mentation. The teachers have more knowledge and skills. They also clear doubts immediately. They teach us but never complete the syllabus.
Other: Every year one film team will lunch the audio release at our college.
