It is a very good college to study.
Placements: Placements provided by training and placement cell are good. Many companies visit our college to recruit students from the computer and electronics branches. Top recruiting companies are Tata, L&T, etc. Around 39 students got placed in the previous year. Our college provides good placements to passed-out students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, an air-conditioned lab, and a good library with plenty of books are available in our college. Students can borrow books from the library for reference. E-book facilities are available. There are good hostels with many facilities for both boys and girls. Mess and canteen food is average. Gym facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are supportive. Semester exams are tough. Professors help students to provide proper awareness about engineering and their courses. It is under Kerala Technological University and follows KTU rules and norms. The pass percentage is 30-35%.

    Our college provides good placements.
Placements: More than 95% of students got placed in 2021 and 2022 in our course. The highest salary package offered in our college was 27 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were IBM, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not much good compared to other government engineering colleges. The hostel facilities are not much good. Our college provides free Wi-Fi, but its speed is not good. All labs and classrooms are average in condition. There is no hostel facility for boys.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. They always clear all your queries. They are friendly and approachable. They all have the helping mentality for your career. The syllabus is a bit old. Our college provides us with practical knowledge which makes us industry-ready.
Other: Our college is a good option for computer science aspirants who are looking for placements. Our college provides different forums like IEEE, IEDC, NSS, NCC, etc.

Review of College of Engineering, Chengannur.
Placements: They offer the best placement, many top companies come for recruitment every academic year, and many students get the best placement with higher LPA and the best position in top companies. 75% of students get placed every academic year; the average LPA is 6 lakh.
Infrastructure: The college offers the best hostel facility compared to other colleges. During the first year, there were some ragging issues in the hostel, but now there is no such problem. Seniors have become best friends, but the food is average; sometimes we don't even eat the food.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and so nice. Some teachers do not know what they are teaching; they have only limited knowledge in the subject. But some teachers teach very well. During exam time, you can pass all subjects by just studying the day before.

Our college provides good and promising placements.
Placements: Almost 80-90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are JusPay, TCS, EY, IBS, IBM, etc. Around 50% of students got internships in this course. The majority of the roles are offered for software engineering for CSE students and for other branches roles are software testing, design engineering, product design, solution engineering, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Our campus is not spacious but all facilities are available. It has an advanced computer laboratory. It also provides a FAB laboratory for 3D printing. Advanced electronics laboratories and digital laboratories are also available. Wi-Fi is available. The library is also available with journals and articles with a one-time membership.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. They always clear our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant and extra effort is needed to make students ready for the industry along with academics and is given by faculty members. Semester exams are not difficult.
Other: Many placements are coming for CSE students. Events, workshops, and festivals are conducted in this college.

Overall, it is a good IHRD college in Kerala.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. The highest salary package is 35 LPA, the average is 5 LPA to 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiters include Wipro, Infosys, etc. About 70% to 80% of students get internships. Roles offered are computer engineer, software developer, security system developer, and penetration tester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. The college has a main building and a library. It has a volleyball court, two badminton courts, a football field, and a basketball court. Hostel facilities are good. Medical facilities are available, as hospitals are nearby. Sports and games don't get much attention.
Faculty: Teachers are good, especially those in our department. The pass percentage is around 45% to 50%. As our college is affiliated with KTU, semester exams are quite tough. We need to score 75 out of 150 along with 40 out of 100 in the written exams.
Other: For placements, join computer science and engineering. If you are expecting a good campus life and if you are interested in sports, look for other options.

A good college with a friendly atmosphere.
Placements: Good placement with a good LPA. Many students get placed every year. About 80 percent of students get placed annually, and good LPA students are placed in the core areas of their trade. The average LPA is 6; many students get placed by abroad companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is pretty good, but there are so many rules that you want to enter the hostel before 9 p.m. Mess is also good, so many varieties of food are available compared to other college food, and the facilities of hostels are good, but many students take rental houses.
Faculty: The course is so outdated and the syllabus is too outdated. The syllabus of the KTU university is 7 years old, but the exams are very tough, and many students get supply. If you have a chance to go to another university, then go and take admission; otherwise, you get trapped.
