Good placements for information technology and computer science only.

Placements: Not everyone gets a placement and the average package offered is 4 lakh rupees per annum. The average stipend offered for the summer internship is nearly Rs. 2000 rupees per month. For some branches, there is 100% placement but not for core branches like mechanical and electrical engineering. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, Tata Motors, ITC, Siemens, Bajaj, etc. visit the campus every year.

Great college for all-round development of the student along with academics.

Placements: For last year's batch, the placements were very good as 85% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was 75 lakhs PA and lowest salary was 3 lakhs PA. Various companies like Bajaj, TCE, Crompton Greaves, Goldman Sachs, Bharat Forge, Ford, etc visited our campus. Various roles like graduate engineering trainee, business analyst, data scientist, trainee engineer, etc were offered to the students. 35% of the students got the internship through our college. Review of whether you should opt for metallurgical engineering at COEP, Pune.

Placements: The placement scenario is not as good as electrical branches but still, it is good to go. Some of the recruiters are billion-dollar MNCs like JSW Group, Kalyani Group, GKN Driveline, Aditya-Birla Group, Morgan Advanced Material, Alfa Laval and local companies around Pune. The highest package is around 6 LPA and the average is 3.6-4 LPA. Overall, the placement is good but it varies every year with market and economy, etc.

Happy with the college I studied in.

Placements: The final placements were about 80% for the batch of 2012-16. The highest package that was offered was of 12 LPA from a banking company. The job profile was not that of electrical engineering. The majority of the offers were from technical companies. The lowest package was from an IT company which was a bulk recruiter at 3.33 LPA.

COEP : Heavenly government college.

Placements: To be specific about my branch i.e. civil engineering - Two years ago the placements were awesome. About 80% students were placed but last year the number was very poor. Only 20-30% placements were there. This year yet again the number has risen satisfactorily. For computer, mechanical and electrical, the placements are even better. Few core companies and bulk companies visited the campus and the package offered ranged from 4 lakhs per annum to 9 lakhs per annum for civil engineering. ...

Decent hostel life and good curriculum.

Placements: The placements in this college are pretty decent. Last year, around 75-80% of my seniors were placed in companies ranging from Rolls-Royce to TCS. The average package a student gets is around 4-7 lakhs PA. Also, almost every student gets a chance to sit for placements. The student scoring above 6 CGPA surely gets to apply for almost 80% of the companies.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.

Placements: Placement in College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is simply one of the best in Maharashtra. Students are admitted in the college by taking the CET exam. Return of investment simply is the best. College has got a good alumni base. Average package of the college goes around 7-8 lakhs/annum and the highest package goes above 18 lakhs/annum.

Among the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: Placement was decent. Almost 70-80% students were placed from our batch. Core companies like Bajaj, only massTata motors, Siemens, L&T, Mercedes Benz etc visited our campus. Then there were analytics companies like Sears, ZS associate, Future First, Citi corp, Credit Susie, etc. TConly mass recruiter. As usual, there were plenty of companies for Computer and IT department.

Overall it is a good college

Placements: The placements in my college have been really good. Last year, a lot of mechanical engineering companies had come to our campus considering the fact that the training and placement officer was from the same department. This year, the officer has changed and yet the placements have been good until now. This year companies like Rolls Royce visited the campus. The roles offered to the students through campus placements can range from software coding to working on the product line. PLM, Analyst, GET...

A heritage college with a great learning experience and facilities.

Placements: Our senior batch was placed in companies like Kalyani Steel, Bharat Forge, Tata steel, Mukund Steel etc. 87% of the students were placed in the senior batch. The average salary offered for our particular branch was 4,50,000 per annum, the highest package was 8.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3,50,000 per annum. No companies offering below 3,50,000 are allowed for the campus placements. The roles offered were of Assistant Engineer, lab engineering, Trainee Engineer etc. About 95% students ge...

Maharashtra's number 1 college, but COEP's civil placements are going down.

Placements: When talking about COEP placements, they are good every year. But last year's 2015-16 civil placements in COEP were not up to the mark as only 35% students got placed till May 2016, whereas in the year 2014-15, placement was above 50%. The drop in placement is seen this year because of the world market going down. The highest salary offered in the year 2015-16 was 5 LPA by BASF company from Mumbai. Only 1 girl got placed in it. The lowest salary was offered by SoftTech company, Pune. There 1 gir...

The campus of the college is amazing. The faculty is professional, qualified and friendly in nature. It is one of the top engineering colleges in Pune. Many major recruiters like Accenture, cognizant, TCS, Infosys, l&t Infotech, Zensar, etc. come for campus placements. This college is not just focused on academics but on extracurricular activities too.

It is the best engineering college after the IITs with the best brand name in Maharashtra. The staff is good. The college provides awesome placements and is located in the heart of Pune. COEP will provide the best exposure one can expect. It’s a proud feeling to be associated with this college.

The college provides very good facilities. It is one of the best institutes for the Technical Education. Placements over here are very good. The teachers are so co-operative and ready to help all the time. College of engineering has a very famous mess facility. Though the infrastructure not that good but it is well maintained.
