The review of COEP - College of Engineering, Pune.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, and the college is bringing in some of the top companies for placements. However, most of the job roles offered are for mechanical engineers rather than for the students of the production engineering department. It has also been observed that people who want to go into the production engineering domain has to basically look for placements on their own most of the time. Most of the people try to go for government jobs or higher education as this course seems pr...

I am proud to be part of this college.

Placements: As we know urban planning is a professional course, you will get a job based on your skills, knowledge and work experience. You will get a salary package of 3-4 LPA in the start. However, it will increase with the experience. More than 30 students out of 60 got placed in core and non-core companies. You will get opportunities in the government sector, private sector and also NGO.

Teachers and facilities provided are really good.

Placements: Our seniors used to tell me that there are 100% placements for our department. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA. It is very tough to get placed in companies like Texas Instruments. Students mostly prefer IT companies. Even Microsoft visited the campus this year. They hired students from computers and information technology.
