SVUCE: A Canvas of Dreams and Discover.
Placements: Last year, no companies came to our college. Out of 80 students, only 10 students were placed, and 10 to 20 members wanted to study for an M.Tech and also cracked the GATE entrance exam. In our branch, the studies are good, but companies are not coming here properly. But this year, companies are coming to our college. As of now, 3 companies have come to our college this year.
Infrastructure: In our college and department, there is no Wi-Fi facility. The labs in our department are neither bad nor good. In the ECE department, only the classroom and 1 seminar hall are good; the rest are not good. The library is good. There are 2 libraries in our university: 1 university library and 1 B.Tech library. But our hostel infrastructure and food are the best. In our mess, the menu is also prepared by us, and we can change our mess menu every 3 months. There is no Wi-Fi in our hostel.
Faculty: In our department, there are 11 well-qualified professors, and their teaching skills are awesome. The courses in our curriculum are relevant to core-side jobs. The curriculum offered by our college is good and useful for our careers. The semesters are tough and made strict by our college faculty. The pass percentage in our department is nearly 80 to 90.
Other: I want to focus on my career in government-based jobs; I want to work in DRDO, ISRO, etc. The best thing about our course is that if you are interested, you will understand quickly, and if you do work on chips and other instruments, your interest will gradually increase. In our course, we want to do more lab work and gain practical experience; this is something that should be improved in all colleges. The events conducted by our department are: 1. Inaugural—this is for inviting freshers to our college and to our department, and this event is done by every department individually; 2. Department Activities (DA)—in this, seniors and juniors form a team and play games like volleyball, cricket, badminton, etc., and winners also get prizes in this event, and this event is done by every department individually; 3. Rhapsody—this event is conducted by all branches, and this event includes games, events, and other extracurricular activities, and every activity has some points. At last, whichever department gets the highest number of points wins the Rhapsody Cup, and M.Tech students are also included in this event; 4. Sigmoid—this is the national-level technical symposium of the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch, and I am proud to say that I am a student currently pursuing a B.Tech in the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch.

Good choice for the preparation of M.Tech and other courses.
Placements: 60 percent of the students are placed in our Computer Science and Engineering course. The highest package is 18 lpa, the average package is 7 lpa, and the lowest package is 3.5 lpa. Accenture can recruit students from this college, and some companies visit alternate years.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are nice and clean. Digital classrooms are there. The hostel food is average. The hostel fee is value for the mess food. The library is very good and superb. The maintenance of the library is very good. Wi-Fi is available in the library. In the hostel, no Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Yes, teachers help students and they are knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is good. The curriculum is also nice. The exams are not that tough. The exams are conducted very strictly. The results take more time.
Other: This is the trending course nowadays, so I took it. The AI skills.

The life at the sri venkateshwar university.
Placements: The percentage of students were placed in the college in my course are about 70 percentage but the remaining students are left out with out any job and internships. The highest package in my course is about 16 Lacs, the lowest package is about 4 Lacs and the average package is about the 6-7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The college has the most beautiful and wonderful infrastructure which is the one the reason why the college has the most crowd in the campus. The college has the most wonderful facilities, the campus is enabled with Wi-Fi 24/7. The facilities at the hostel are really very good and the food quality is just awesome .
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and highly qualified and highly knowledgeable, there teaching quality is just awesome, they treat us very clearly and as many times we ask with out any irritation. They even teach us from the basic without disrespect and the insult.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements in 2019.
Placements: Almost 70 percent of people were placed at the time. The highest package they offered is 10 LPA, and the least is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are CTS, TCS, and Wipro. They offered for junior engineer roles. Internships are offered for almost 60 percent, and we are truly blessed with placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good, and the labs we have here are some of the best in our state, and the lab technicians are highly talented and well-behaved people. Facilities in hostels are good, and food available in the canteen is too good. A medical facility is available.
Faculty: Faculty is very strict when it comes to academics, and they will conduct weekly assessments. Semester exams are difficult some times and good sometimes. The curriculum they provided is very helpful for us during exam time. Teachers are highly knowledgeable.
Other: Crowds in the classroom are moderate. Maximum 40 people are there in each class and event. The college fest is the biggest event, and scholarships will be provided 100 percent.

The college has to improve placements and facilities in campus.
Placements: The percent of students placed in our course is around 75 percent. The highest average package offered are between 10 and 15 Lacs per annum and the lowest average package is below 8 lacs, and top companies like wipro Infosys and TCS and top roles web development, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has great facilities on campus, like free Wi-Fi and good classrooms. The labs are well-equipped and the sports grounds are there but with limited time for sports. The hostels are good and the library is well stocked. The infrastructure of the campus is good, with proper buildings and a pleasant environment.
Faculty: The staff of the college is good, the teachers are well qualified and the teaching quality is really good. The teachers are well experienced and have good knowledge in their subjects. The semesters are difficult to pass so we have to study well and the pass percent is above 75.

I am frustrated on college staff.
Placements: The top recruits are from TCS and Amaron. The lowest package is for about 6 LPA. Students refer to off-campus interviews and higher education. The placement cell offers great placement assistance before clocking down, with various internships near Tirupati.
Infrastructure: The labs were good, but a new version has to be installed. Exams are somehow strict, with good food and nice greenery around the campus—great for greenery lovers to roam around the campus with friends. The canteens are very old and poorly maintained, lacking basic amenities.
Faculty: The question papers were somehow tough and needed to be well prepared for. For non-core subjects, we had to learn thoroughly, as they could fail you for minor mistakes. Good marks will be received by those who have good handwriting. Exam results will be quite delayed.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in coding. The crowd was minimal, and the fests were good, but they were conducted very slowly.

Q:   Can I get Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering B Tech with 65 percentile in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET?

A:

The likelihood of gaining admission to Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering's (SVUCE) B.Tech programs with a 65 percentile in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) depends on several factors, including the specific branch of engineering, competitive levels for different branches, and overall cut-off marks for the year.

Historically, SVUCE has maintained competitive cut-off marks for B.Tech programs, with general category cut-offs ranging from 75 to 85 percentile in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. However, securing admission with a 65 percentile is possible, especially if you are open to considering less competitive branches like Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Cut-off marks for these branches tend to be lower compared to more sought-after branches like Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Factors influencing your admission chances with a 65 percentile in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET:

  1. Branch Preference: Competition varies across different engineering branches at SVUCE. Considering less competitive branches increases your chances of admission with a 65 percentile.

  2. Overall Cut-off Marks: Cut-off marks for SVUCE B.Tech programs fluctuate annually. Your chances improve if the overall cut-offs are lower in a particular year.

  3. 10+2 Performance: Your 10+2 performance is considered alongside your Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score. Securing good marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 strengthens your profile.

  4. Category: Reserved category candidates generally have lower cut-offs than general category candidates. If you belong to a reserved category, your chances of admission increase.

Strategies to increase admission chances:

  1. Target Less Competitive Branches: Focus on applying for branches with historically lower cut-off marks.

  2. Enhance Overall Profile: Strengthen your overall profile by participating in extracurricular activities, volunteering, and gaining relevant work experience.

  3. Stay Informed About Admission Process: Keep track of admission dates, eligibility criteria, and counseling procedures to ensure you meet all requirements.

Remember, admission to SVUCE is competitive, and even with a strong profile, there is no guarantee of admission. However, by carefully considering branch preferences, staying informed about the admission process, and making strategic choices, you can increase your chances of securing a seat at this prestigious institution.

Q:   Does B.Tech CSE have a better placement rate than B.Tech ESE at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering?

A:

Yes, B.Tech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) generally has a better placement rate than B.Tech ESE (Electronics and Electrical Engineering) at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE). This is due to the higher demand for CSE graduates in the IT industry.

SVUCE's placement statistics consistently show a placement rate of over 95% for B.Tech CSE graduates, compared to around 85% for B.Tech ESE graduates. The average salary package for B.Tech CSE graduates is also higher than for B.Tech ESE graduates.

The higher demand for CSE graduates stems from the IT industry's rapid growth and the constant need for skilled professionals in software development, web development, data science, and cybersecurity. This broader range of career opportunities and higher salaries contribute to B.Tech CSE's better placement rate.

While B.Tech ESE graduates also have good placement prospects, the demand for CSE graduates is currently stronger. However, it's important to choose a discipline aligned with your interests and career goals. If you're passionate about software and technology, B.Tech CSE is a great choice. If you're interested in electronics, electrical engineering, or other engineering fields, B.Tech ESE may be a better fit.

Ultimately, the decision between B.Tech CSE and B.Tech ESE depends on your individual aspirations and career path. Both disciplines offer promising career opportunities, and SVUCE's strong placement record ensures that graduates in both fields have access to excellent opportunities.
