Future for students in placements .
Placements: In my course, the students getting a rank below 10k will be placed. Most of the students are clever in this course. The highest package is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top company was TCS. There is a lesser percentage of getting internships, so we have to try off-campus.
Infrastructure: The course building is very old, and the department labs are there, but there is a lack of equipment to do practical experiments. Only Matlab is providing Wi-Fi; other labs don't have Wi-Fi facilities. The food is okay because it is good as per what we are paying for. We have daily eggs and omelets, except on Saturday.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and student-friendly. The teaching quality is good for some teachers, and some teachers didn’t cover the entire syllabus—they just showed the PPT and completed the syllabus. The curriculum is not ready for industry purposes because of the lack of equipment in labs. Per semester, we have a total of 2 mid-exams. The highest mid marks are considered as 80 percent, and the lowest is 20 percent.
Other: We have a free campus because we don’t have any sections here. We only have one section for one branch, and all branch faculty take care of us. But in other colleges, one branch has a lot of sections with a huge crowd, and the faculty doesn’t see the students—they just leave them. We have a local scholarship scheme where the local government pays our tuition fee.

A detailed review of our college.
Placements: From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. The number of students who are opting for placements is few because most of them are interested in cracking GATE, UPSC, CSE, IES, etc. Most of the students cracked government exams. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA by Fanatics, Hyderabad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is pretty good. It has decent labs and Wi-Fi. Every classroom is provided with a digital board. The library is very huge and contains every book that a student requires in their course. It has many journals. The hostel rooms are a bit disappointing, but the food served is good. Sports are also conducted every year.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and their approach is also good. Faculty members play a key role here in developing the university to great heights and the semester exams are of moderate difficulty level. The course curriculum is designed perfectly for real-world applications. The pass percentage is approximately 85-90%.
Other: I have chosen this college because it is a government university and one of the best universities in our country. The college provides a great study environment, which makes us feel comfortable. There is no pressure from the faculty members. A tech fest is conducted once every 2 years, and other fests are conducted at frequent intervals.

The life at the sri venkateshwar university.
Placements: The percentage of students were placed in the college in my course are about 70 percentage but the remaining students are left out with out any job and internships. The highest package in my course is about 16 Lacs, the lowest package is about 4 Lacs and the average package is about the 6-7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The college has the most beautiful and wonderful infrastructure which is the one the reason why the college has the most crowd in the campus. The college has the most wonderful facilities, the campus is enabled with Wi-Fi 24/7. The facilities at the hostel are really very good and the food quality is just awesome .
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and highly qualified and highly knowledgeable, there teaching quality is just awesome, they treat us very clearly and as many times we ask with out any irritation. They even teach us from the basic without disrespect and the insult.

SVUCE: A Canvas of Dreams and Discover.
Placements: Last year, no companies came to our college. Out of 80 students, only 10 students were placed, and 10 to 20 members wanted to study for an M.Tech and also cracked the GATE entrance exam. In our branch, the studies are good, but companies are not coming here properly. But this year, companies are coming to our college. As of now, 3 companies have come to our college this year.
Infrastructure: In our college and department, there is no Wi-Fi facility. The labs in our department are neither bad nor good. In the ECE department, only the classroom and 1 seminar hall are good; the rest are not good. The library is good. There are 2 libraries in our university: 1 university library and 1 B.Tech library. But our hostel infrastructure and food are the best. In our mess, the menu is also prepared by us, and we can change our mess menu every 3 months. There is no Wi-Fi in our hostel.
Faculty: In our department, there are 11 well-qualified professors, and their teaching skills are awesome. The courses in our curriculum are relevant to core-side jobs. The curriculum offered by our college is good and useful for our careers. The semesters are tough and made strict by our college faculty. The pass percentage in our department is nearly 80 to 90.
Other: I want to focus on my career in government-based jobs; I want to work in DRDO, ISRO, etc. The best thing about our course is that if you are interested, you will understand quickly, and if you do work on chips and other instruments, your interest will gradually increase. In our course, we want to do more lab work and gain practical experience; this is something that should be improved in all colleges. The events conducted by our department are: 1. Inaugural—this is for inviting freshers to our college and to our department, and this event is done by every department individually; 2. Department Activities (DA)—in this, seniors and juniors form a team and play games like volleyball, cricket, badminton, etc., and winners also get prizes in this event, and this event is done by every department individually; 3. Rhapsody—this event is conducted by all branches, and this event includes games, events, and other extracurricular activities, and every activity has some points. At last, whichever department gets the highest number of points wins the Rhapsody Cup, and M.Tech students are also included in this event; 4. Sigmoid—this is the national-level technical symposium of the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch, and I am proud to say that I am a student currently pursuing a B.Tech in the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch.

Good choice for the preparation of M.Tech and other courses.
Placements: 60 percent of the students are placed in our Computer Science and Engineering course. The highest package is 18 lpa, the average package is 7 lpa, and the lowest package is 3.5 lpa. Accenture can recruit students from this college, and some companies visit alternate years.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are nice and clean. Digital classrooms are there. The hostel food is average. The hostel fee is value for the mess food. The library is very good and superb. The maintenance of the library is very good. Wi-Fi is available in the library. In the hostel, no Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Yes, teachers help students and they are knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is good. The curriculum is also nice. The exams are not that tough. The exams are conducted very strictly. The results take more time.
Other: This is the trending course nowadays, so I took it. The AI skills.

Do's and dont's of our college.
Placements: Emphasis, Cognizant and TCS are most likely to give jobs. This year we are getting a very low number of placements; till now we have gotten only one placement for our senior and that is from Emphasis, and his package is just 6 LPA. We are not getting satisfactory placements here.
Infrastructure: In our hostel, the bathrooms are not clean and there is some blockage of water. Hostel rooms are good but most of the fans are not working properly. But the environment is very good. Classes are digitalised but are not so good to listen to. Water pours down during heavy rain.
Faculty: Our teachers are very much qualified; most of them are professors. We have less pressure on academics. Our academic standards are so good. This curriculum is so much more relevant to studies. Semester exams are very difficult. Our teachers are also helping with the competitive exams.
Other: Our college is vast and there are so many grounds there to play and to improve physical fitness. We are also getting gym but roaming in college around nights is a little bit dangerous because of wild animals.

    SVUCE
    Admission FAQs

Q:   Is B Tech at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering better than SPMVV

    A:

Both SVUCE and SPMVV are renowned institutions offering B.Tech programs, but SVUCE generally holds a stronger reputation due to its superior placement record, extensive alumni network, and overall academic excellence.

SVUCE's stellar placement record consistently surpasses SPMVV's, with over 90% of its graduates securing placements in top companies annually. This impressive achievement reflects SVUCE's strong industry connections and its focus on preparing students for the corporate world.

SVUCE's alumni network is a valuable asset, providing mentorship, guidance, and potential job opportunities for current students. SPMVV's alumni network, while smaller, still contributes to its placement efforts.

SVUCE's infrastructure, faculty, and industry-aligned curriculum further enhance its appeal. SPMVV, while well-equipped, does not match SVUCE's resources and industry focus.

While SPMVV is a respectable institution, SVUCE's overall strengths make it the preferred choice for most aspiring engineers. Its comprehensive education and strong industry connections provide a promising foundation for successful engineering careers.
