College has qualified faculty in our course.
Placements: In our college, an average number of students get placements. Around 20–30% of students get placements. The highest package offered at this college was 14 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. The average package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, TCS, Miraj Ind., etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was also average. college has facilities like labs, canteens, library, hostels, Wi-Fi, sports grounds, etc. The cafeteria of our college was good, and it was providing good-quality food. There was no hostel facility available at our college.
Faculty: The faculty of our college was really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the professors were helpful and supportive of the students at the college. The course curriculum of our college was also relevant. It makes the students job-ready. Semester exams were also easy to score.

My experience as a student at the College of Technology and Engineering.
Placements: The placements at CTAE seem average to me. Every year, numerous recruitments occur, but, in my opinion, the offered packages are not satisfactory. Companies such as Adani, TCS, Secure Meter, Arcgate, and Pyrotech visit for recruiting both for placements and internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are below average standards. The infrastructure of the college, department, and hostel is quite damaged, and the necessities required for a computer science student are not met. For example, Wi-Fi is not provided, and charging sockets for laptops are not available everywhere throughout the campus. Classrooms and lecture halls are not updated with a smart class system. Medical facilities are not available on campus; one has to go off-campus just to see a doctor or visit the pharmacy. The mess and canteen are not the most hygienic and are a little too overcrowded; the quality of food is okayish, not impressive. However, sports and games facilities are better, with good grounds and available sports equipment.
Faculty: The faculty throughout the college are highly qualified and experienced, but they are not the most supportive individuals on campus. Roughly 75% of the faculty members tend to be rude and only seem concerned about whether students have completed their assignments. Their primary focus is on completing the course, and they show little concern about whether students truly comprehend the material. Ultimately, it comes down to relying on YouTube for studying to pass the semester. While the university has a well-structured course curriculum, unfortunately, the teachers exhibit an indifferent attitude towards it. The semester exams are moderately difficult for me, and the pass percentage is decent; however, only a few students manage to avoid semester setbacks.

Decent Placements and Good campus life.
Placements: This college has excellent placements in the mining branch (15 LPA, approximately). Other branches with decent placements are CSE, EE, and ME. The average package varies from 4.5 to 4.75 LPA. Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, and Securemeter are major recruiters. In CSE, 40 students, in EE, 40 to 45 students, and in ME, 15 students got placed. ME has only 24 students, out of which 15 got placed with packages ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. The mining branch has 25 students, out of whom 16 got placed.
Infrastructure: The PG hostel and NSCB hostel are decent, but An Khosla and MV hostel have poor infrastructure. They both have unclean washrooms with bad odors, and the rooms are also old, requiring adjustment. The PG and NSCB hostels have good rooms. There is one canteen and good sports facilities available. We have 2 cricket grounds, 1 football ground, 3 basketball grounds, 1 volleyball ground, and 1 tennis ground. Additionally, we have 3 indoor badminton courts and a table tennis court.
Faculty: The faculty members are poor, mostly consisting of guest faculty. Students often have to rely on self-study and notes for exam preparation. However, there are some good teachers like Dave sir and Kalpana mam. Exams usually occur 4 times a year, with 2 mid-semester exams and 2 semester exams. Grading is stringent, and achieving an 8 CGPA is exceptional, while an above 7 CGPA is considered good in this college.
Other: Clubs are not very active here, and festivals take place only during selection times. Students can enjoy parties for free during selection times. Considering it is a government college, campus life may not be very lively. However, in terms of return on investment (ROI), it is a good college. The total fees are approximately 4.5 LPA (if you are in a hostel) for GEN candidates. One can easily secure a package of 5 LPA or above from this college, providing a good ROI.

Very nice college as compared to others.
Placements: 45 to 50% students are placed. The highest package is INR 20 LPA, the lowest package is INR 4 LPA and average package is INR 9 LPA. Top recruiters are of agriculture and mining branch. 10% students got internship. It is a very good college if you want to take admission. Ragging is strictly banned or prohibited in this college. The college dean is very well mannered and is very kind in nature.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available at the library. Classrooms are neat and clean. Labs are above average. Mess food is okay, not too good. Medical facilities are available. Doctor is available. Canteen is nice and cleaned. Games facilities are amazing. Many opportunities are there in sports field.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. qualified. Teaching quality is above average. This course is curriculum relevant. It makes student industry ready. The semester exams are not so difficult. 60-65% students pass. If you study regularly, you do not have to worry about exams and it won't be difficult to score good.

Good college, not the best, but a decent college.
Placements: The College of Technology and Engineering is a good college for B.Tech. The average placement is decent, up to 10 lacs per annum. Basically for agriculture and mining, there is better placement. Up to 14 to 15 lacs per annum is quite good for this field.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good new buildings are being prepared for the students. A hostel for first-year students is also available, which is a good college due to its good campus. It is being worked hard for the students exams to be on time.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is good and helpful in nature. Regular classes are arranged for all of the students; most of the classes are for first-year students only and others are for others too. Extras are also available at the college. Semester exams are not as tough.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering, which is good in this college .

With a 66 percentile in JEE and 85% in your board exams, you have a reasonable chance of admission to B.Tech CSE at CTAE Udaipur. Admission is based on JEE Main scores and board exam performance. While 66 percentile might be lower than the top cutoffs, good board exam marks could improve your chance

CTAE and RTU are filled by REAP( 200 to 2500 in REAP). The normal admission of CTAE varies from 16000 to 12000 rank in JEE MAINS and nearly same goes for RTU,KOTA. That is around 50 to 60 to150 marks in MAINS.
