My amazing experience at Contai Polytechnic.

Placements: I am a current student at contai Polytechnic, pursuing a diploma in electronics engineering. The average placement scenario with approximately 80% of students in renowned companies. In our course, the highest package offered is 8 lacs per annum, the lowest is 3.6 lacs per annum, and the average package stands at 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies in our college is Siemens, Schneider electric, Tata power etc. Near about 70% of students secured internships in same companies. About 70% of students get placements in companies like Siemens, thought works, Wipro, blue star, and so on. They play the job role of an analyst, an assistant design engineer and as a communication engineer etc. Students also get internships in these companies on their own. They also earn stipend from these internships.

Infrastructure: In Contai Polytechnic there are great facilities for students. In the electronics & tele communication engineering department. We have Wi-Fi across the campus. Our labs are modern so we do need of good internet connectivity. We have a common library with more than 3000 books for students. The hostels are comfortable but student could arrange there mess or rooms if they are non-eligible for the hostel. The canteen has variety of food items in affordable prices for the students. Our college has connectivity all over the campus. In our branch, we have 2 separate classrooms and 1 computer lab with 1 electronic lab. Our college also has common canteen, library, and college ground. In our canteen, students can avail food at reasonable prices. In the college ground, students also play games like football, cricket, volley, etc. There is also a common room where students can play cars & carom if they want to.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant with industrial side. It makes a student industry-ready. The semester exams are challenging but it's not difficult to pass. The faculty members are very helpful and cooperative in manner of teaching, doubt solving, and all. They also prepare us to deal with our future work presentations and industrial problems. The course curriculum is well structured, which makes a student industry ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, but it varies as per the preparation done by the student.

I opted for this course, because of my interest and it provides scholarships to the students.

Placements: Around 80% of students in the final year are get placed the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Tata, IOCL, and multinational companies visit our institution to hire students. Our college has many types of courses like mechanical, civil, pharmacy, electronics, etc.

Infrastructure: In our college, the food quality is good. The classrooms are very clean. There are two libraries in our institute where around 35,000 books are available for all departments. The hostel fees are very low. The food served in the hostel is very nice. The campus is ragging-free.

Faculty: In our college, teachers are cooperative with students. They help students in all matters. Students are satisfied with faculty members. Semester exams are difficult, but pass marks are always good in our college. Teachers make the students ready for the industry.
