It has a hostel facility for 4th-year students and in 2025, it will be opened for 3rd-year students.

Faculty: Our college is under MAKAUT University. The number of faculty members is less but they are good at tuition. They helped us in any way. An odd semester is much harder than an even semester. Teachers are highly qualified and highly experienced. The extra curriculum is mandatory for MAR points that were a must to avoid year lag.

Kind MC people. Especially the greenhouse opposite the college. Named as Harinchawra Chatrabas.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are well-qualified for teaching and very knowledgeable. Through labs and classes, students can be industry-ready. As CGEC is under MAKAUT University, the question level is standard and neither too tough nor too easy. Exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance with 2-3 guards.

CGEC review by 2024 batch (CSE).

Faculty: Faculty is average. The course curriculum is outdated and needs improvement according to recent technology. There are 4 CA exams in which you can score easily and a final semester exam. You can easily get good marks in these semester exams if you study well for 7 days before the exam.

This is my honest review of my college, Coochbehar Government Engineering College.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally approachable and supportive, offering guidance for projects, internships, and career advice. The engineering curriculum is designed to provide a theoretical foundation and practical skills. Course subjects are completed with electives, which make the students industry-ready. While the exam schedule is well-structured, the pressure can be intense due to overlapping dates for projects, assignments, and tests.

My college is good for study at low cost, which makes it good.

Faculty: Our teachers at CGEC are a mixed bag. Some are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making complex subjects easier to understand. They're always willing to help and clear doubts. The curriculum at CGEC is a decent blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. Core engineering subjects are well-covered.

Average faculty members, Placements are below average, lacking improvements.

Faculty: Most skilled teachers are in Non-Core branches (ECE, CSE). All of the faculty members either have Ph.D. degrees or graduated from IITs or NITs. Teaching varies from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum is relevant, but it depends on the job role you are looking for, and yes, it does not make students industry-ready. You have to work for yourself; don't rely on the college teachers. Semester exams are managed by the university board: MAKAUT. The difficulty level is 3.5/5. The pass percentage...

I had an incredible experience at Coochbehar Government Engineering College.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they are well-qualified. The teachers' teaching quality is excellent. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. There is also a lot of scope for the industry. The semester exams in our college are nothing much. The percentage to pass in our college is 60%.

The college is not very bad but it will be very good if some needs are met.

Faculty: Our faculty in this department is very less, and the academic faculty in the college is less, the faculty is very lazy. The teachers of our department are very helpful and prepare well for the semester. They are very serious about class. Some classes are conducted by guest faculty members for less faculty members.

My college is the best!

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are really helpful towards us. They made us industry-ready. Semester exams are more difficult than other universities, with a pass percentage of 65%. The faculty members of the ECE department are from different NITs and are the best professors from other branches in my college.

Entirely a government college so who cannot afford money for private colleges can take admission.

Faculty: Professors were very much helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They always support students in every situation. Teaching quality of professors was also very good. Semester exams were conducted smoothly, and question papers were from MAKAUT University.

CGEC: Best college of North Bengal

Faculty: We have great teaching faculty. The professors are also great, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum can't make you industry-ready; you should prepare yourself by gaining knowledge. The semester exams are not hard if you study hard. You need to score 40% marks to pass the exam.

An Honest and Gentle Review of CGEC.

Faculty: Faculty members are great in the aspect of their behaviour and communications. In JISu, the faculty members and students both share a friendly environment that faculty members do share and make concepts easier for the students to understand whatever topics are there in their course. Moreover, they guide the students for making different life-changing projects.

Solid education with good placements, but the curriculum needs more industry focus.

Faculty: Teachers at Cooch Behar Government Engineering College are generally helpful and qualified, providing good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant but could use more industry integration. Exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of about 80-90% if students study consistently.
