It has a hostel facility for 4th-year students and in 2025, it will be opened for 3rd-year students.

Infrastructure: It provides a hostel for only the 4th-year students. Maybe in 2025 hostel will be open for 3rd-year students. The canteen is closed. There are multiple PGs near the college. In the hostel, food quality is better. There is Wi-Fi but not a table, so there are some network issues. The gym equipment was reached but the gym was not started.

Kind MC people. Especially the greenhouse opposite the college. Named as Harinchawra Chatrabas.

Infrastructure: The course is good. Teachers are good at teaching. The course has many opportunities in many private companies. Anyone can prepare for government exams or GATE. The hostel is good. Most students prefer the hostel. The hostel facility is good. Food is good. Rooms are big enough to live with 2 students. Chairs and tables are provided by the hostel.

CGEC review by 2024 batch (CSE).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not so good because it's a new college. An efficient amount of classrooms are there. There is only one library, but there are no relevant books in that. The canteen is present on campus but has been close since 2-3 years.

This is my honest review of my college, Coochbehar Government Engineering College.

Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including well-maintained laboratories, a first-rate library, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The classrooms are modern and spacious. The hostel serves regular meals, including lunch and dinner, while the food is hygienic. Students feel the need for more variety.

My college is good for study at low cost, which makes it good.

Infrastructure: Yes, we have free Wi-Fi connection for every student. Our classrooms are very advanced and clean. There are projectors, computers, and AC in our classrooms. Our hostel is very clean, especially our B.Ed rooms. The food quality in the hostel is average. Dal, rice, chicken, or vegetables are served as our daily food in the canteen. We get snacks, tea, coffee, and bread at very low cost. There are primary medical facilities, and we have a huge playground in our college. We also have many active clu...

Average faculty members, Placements are below average, lacking improvements.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi throughout the whole campus. Labs are average, and classrooms are well-equipped with infrastructure (like projectors, boards). A digital library is available, and there's much space in the library building. Hostels for girls are available from the first year, but for boys, they are available from the 4th year only. The canteen has not been open for the last 3 years due to internal issues. Hostel mess food is average, and no medical facilities are available. There are 2 big open gr...

I had an incredible experience at Coochbehar Government Engineering College.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our department are excellent, and there are Wi-Fi, workshops, labs, and a library also available. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is excellent in the hostel mess and canteen. There are many facilities in our college, like sports (i.e., cricket, football, volleyball, etc.). Medical fitness is also available.

The college is not very bad but it will be very good if some needs are met.

Infrastructure: In this college, we have very few faculty in the electronics and communication department, but there are many lab materials and there is an AC system in the labs. The classroom is clean enough and the class has a fan and light. Hostel is for the fourth year only.

My college is the best!

Infrastructure: Hostels are new and always clean. They give top-class facilities, and they give you a B.Ed table and chair. The room is like newly opened. Hostel food includes chicken, vat, sometimes biryani, mutton curry, pulao, aloo dam, etc. The 1-year hostel mess bill is 15,000/- only.

Entirely a government college so who cannot afford money for private colleges can take admission.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure was not good. Classrooms were not good. Wi-Fi was available in classrooms but speed was very slow. Library was also very big but collection of books was not so much. Hostels were in good condition. Food quality was very good.

CGEC: Best college of North Bengal

Infrastructure: Our college's 20-acre campus has state-of-the-art labs, experienced faculty members, and extensive computer facilities. In our college, we have a free Wi-Fi facility. The CGEC library has various kinds of books, but they are not up-to-date. We have one girls' hostel and two boys' hostels for 4th and 3rd-year students. Two hostel buildings are still under construction. Hostel food is not as good as home food, obviously, but it is fine. Overall, the infrastructure is good, and the hostel is averag...

Cooch Behar Government Engineering College (CGEC) is a prominent public technical.

Infrastructure: The college is situated in a sprawling campus with good infrastructure. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern teaching aids, and the laboratories are designed to provide hands-on experience. The campus also offers amenities like hostels, a library with a wide range of books and journals, a computer center, and sports facilities. However, while the infrastructure is improving, it still requires upgrades in certain areas, such as better internet connectivity and more advanced laboratory equ...

An Honest and Gentle Review of CGEC.

Infrastructure: In every depth, the course curriculum is followed as per government boards like UGC. The curriculum does cover the market requirements, thus preparing the students for market-ready companies. As well, the curriculum follows an advanced way of following the course, which makes it easier and understandable for the students of various depths.

Infrastructure: Cooch Behar Government Engineering College offers decent Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and spacious classrooms. The library has a good collection. Hostels are clean with basic amenities. Mess food is hygienic but simple. Medical facilities are basic, and sports options are available.
