Very much satisfied with the University.
Placements: The course is satisfactory. Placement is also good. Many of my seniors got recruited by good companies. And after the PhD course, an average of 1-1.5 Lacs per month package is given. Cotton University is one of the best universities in North East India, so there's no problem with getting placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are of average quality. Drinking water is available in the department. Infrastructure is overall good. Hostels are not so well maintained. Food of hostel mess is well cooked and there is a big field in the hostel for sports and games. There is a hospital also near the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and highly qualified. Teaching in the department is satisfactory. The teachers help every student who approaches them. The course curriculum is also good as compared to other institutions. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: Zoology has been my favourite subject. So I chose to study B.Sc Zoology.

I had the best experience of college life but dissatisfied with administration.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college, and the department offers no such facilities. If you want any job, it is up to you to apply. Apart from placements, there is no internship scheme or foreign institution exchange scheme. I did my internship on my own by approaching various teachers.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is up to date, and also, there are abundant labs, so there is no need to worry about that. However, the canteen is far away, so you basically have to depend on the street food corners which are affordable and offer good and hygienic food.
Faculty: There is no college where all the faculty members are top-notch, so the same story goes with this department. Although a majority of them are well versed and have good information delivering capacity. The syllabus is comparable with all India-level exams.
Other: Zoology or animal science is the one I wished to study from a very tender age. The reason being my love for animals. The course offered is good, but a few improvements like more field visits or internship cell would boost the practical knowledge, which will be an ultimate decider in the long run. When I pursued my course, I got a scholarship from DST, which proved to be a life-changer. Being at Cotton University is an experience that I wish everyone could get. Although there are many negative points in my review but the fact that Cotton University is a 125-year old college which has maintained its prestige till date speaks everything about it.

Satisfied with the faculty, and the laboratories require core development.
Placements: None of the students was placed through the university. It is not a professional course, hence no companies were available for the course. Some students got into their jobs on their own. The university was not involved in the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are good, but they do require a lot of upgradation. The library is very functional. Hostel facilities are good but could be better. The quality of food in the hostel is really poor and requires a lot of betterment. Canteen is good. Almost all varieties of food items are available at a very low price.
Faculty: We didn't have a sufficient number of teachers for our course. Hence, the completion of syllabus on time became a bit tough. The curriculum is up to date with the present system. Students do great in their respective subjects. Most of the students are sincere.

As it is a new university, it needs to improve its level. However, it is still better in many ways.
Placements: In our batch, there are 44 students. Some of our super seniors pursued PhD and became professors. The salary offered to professors may range from Rs. 40,000 to 1 lac per month or higher. Placements are not conducted in our college yet. If you pursue PhD, then you can be a research scientist. The highest or lowest or average stipend is not offered during internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure. Our university has a huge library, canteen, girls common room, etc. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and every hostel has its own playfield. Hostel facilities are very good. The food served in the mess is very good, and our university has a doctor chamber also. Every hostel has its own huge field. Every department has its own Wi-Fi facility but is not available for students and available only for teachers.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly educated, and every teacher performs their duty selflessly. Their teaching quality is also very good and updated. Our university has recently incorporated CBCS syllabus, and I think it is a quite industry-ready curriculum. CBCS syllabus manages to increase the student-teacher interaction and also provides scope to implement theory into practicality in our day to day life. All the teachers are very knowledgeable, and often, they get praised by the alumni and former professors. I can assure you that the teachers can guide students brilliantly and effectively.
Other: I chose this course because I want to know about animals more and also want to save them from being endangered or threatened. Our course is mainly theoretical, so I wish that it should have more practical things than the theory. Events or fests are organised very well and many cultural activities. Popular celebrities visit during events to perform.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement cell is not good. I don't have any idea about the placement cell. No students have got internship from college. There is no highest, the lowest or the average stipend offered during internship. Many companies have visited the college campus but not for placement but for other purpose.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It has library where all the study materials are available. Classroom are good. Sports and game have separate campus. Medical facilities are also there. The quality of labs and classroom are good. The quality of food available in the canteen is healthy.
Faculty: Faculty and course curriculum is excellent. The teachers here are very friendly, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The teaching methods are various. Yes there are industry exposure. Yes the course curriculum is very useful.
Other: We have cotton fest and other co-curricular activities also.
