Satisfied with my college because of its faculty members and placements.
Placements: For 2023-24 recruitment, the highest salary package offered was 23.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6.47 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Metvy, etc. The highest stipend for internships is Rs 40,000 per month. The average stipend is Rs 13,000 per month.
Infrastructure: It has decent infrastructure but also has some limitations. Only 5-6 rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, but most classrooms lack this facility. Library is spacious and offers Wi-Fi for students. Many classrooms are small due to which students have to find empty rooms for tutorial classes.
Faculty: It stands out for its well-structured academic approach and supportive faculty members. The SEC courses offered are relevant and practical. It provides hands-on experience which enhances learning beyond textbooks. Semester exams are not that challenging but require consistent efforts. Teachers are very helpful even during exams as they also conduct online classes during exam season to clear doubts.

Know before you go 'DRC.'
Placements: I am a first year student at Daulat Ram College. Right now, I don't know much about placements. There is no accurate data regarding the percentage of students getting placed. Many big companies recruit the students of DRC. Many students got placed in the top notch companies with good package. The highest package offered was 21 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am in the commerce Department pursuing Bachelor of Commerce. The commerce faculty is nice and well-equipped with the knowledge of their subjects. There are labs for practical accounting exclusively for commerce students with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hostels are okay, I am a day scholar, don't know much about hostels but according to those who live in hostels, it's quite nice with strict rules regarding leaving and coming back, which should be before 7 pm.
Faculty: All the professors in the college are good at their subjects. They are qualified and skilled. I do think that there must be changes in the curriculum; it should be more practical and less of theory as of now. The semester exams are moderate, you just need to go through the past year papers and you will be passed with pretty good marks.
Other: As I am from a commerce background, it was a bit obvious to choose B.Com as my UG course. It gives a student insight into the commerce field. For those who are interested in accounting, they must go for B.Com. The canteen can be improved, the food there is a bit disappointing. And also the infrastructure needs improvement. There are many events organized in the college throughout the year. The annual fest is in February, 'Manjari,' and then events or talks organized by different departments and societies, and of course, Dandiya night.

An experience for life, mixed feelings about the college, good and bad.
Placements: As a college on the North campus, I expected Big 4s to be there because they were coming up in the other colleges. However, the college didn't provide any opportunity like that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Commerce Department was very poor. The department did not have its own building, and the classrooms were in various stages of construction during my three years of study. As a result, we had to take classes in whatever classrooms were available, including those of other departments such as botany and zoology.
Faculty: Some faculty were very supportive, even for those pursuing courses other than just graduation. However, some faculty were completely against students pursuing other courses and also demoralized them. The curriculum is apt and in accordance with course requirements.

Review of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
Placements: 68% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 8 Lacs to 10 Lacs, the lowest package offered in my course is 6 Lacs to 8 Lacs, and the average package offered in my course is 9 Lacs. 78% of students got internships in my course and at all top companies.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities available in my course is good. There is a good quality hostel facility available for students and mess and canteen facilities are available, which include good quality food availability, sports and games facilities. The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are Wi-Fi, classrooms, library and labs.
Faculty: This is curriculum relevant; it makes students industry-ready. Their teachers teaching skills are very good and helpful for students; teachers are highly qualified, educated, professional and knowledgeable. 92% is the passing percentage of students in the semester exam.

Genuine review of Daulat Ram college .
Placements: Placement at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, is average. Most preferred students are from B.Com honours and economics honours students. There are companies like Deloitte, KPMG, TVS, and others. The highest package in Daulat Ram College is 6 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Daulat Ram College is very average in infrastructure. The campus is not so big. It's small but it's very beautiful and crazy. The building is not well maintained. Although the infrastructure is not good, the college faculty is so good. Teachers are so friendly and active.
Faculty: Faculty is very active and friendly. They are very attentive. Daulat Ram College has very good academics. There are teachers and they all are highly skilled and professional. My course faculty is so good. The exams are not so difficult. Course curriculum is excellent.
Other: Although the infrastructure is not good, campus life here is so good. College crowd is awesome. There are active societies and fascinating fests.

The worst infrastructure, yet you are not left out in your academics.
Placements: It does not matter what course you belong to; if you have good communication skills, you will be able to crack any decent placement. DRC placements are not very crowded with top companies, but they provide experience of how the corporate world operates by setting a platform for students to interview with companies.
Infrastructure: DRC's infrastructure is currently one of the worst at Delhi University. We lack proper classrooms and AC-integrated rooms, and basic facilities such as water coolers are not well developed. The sports complex at our college is merely a showpiece; students are not provided with any sports games. DRC is lacking in engaging students in any sports or extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty is decent at DRC; teachers seem dedicated to covering the syllabus on time. Exams are very rigorous, and it is challenging to score marks from our professors. DRC professors do not cancel classes frequently; they work hard to help us understand the concepts.
Other: If a student is capable of making it to Eco Hons, they can opt for the B.A. Program in Economics and Mathematics, which I believe is one of the best combinations to choose for the B.A. program.
