Q:   Can I get admission to Daulat Ram College with 60% in Class 12th?

A:

It is difficult to say for certain whether you can get admission to Daulat Ram College with 60% in Class 12th, as the cut-off marks vary each year depending on the number and quality of applicants. However, 60% is a decent score, and you should have a chance of getting admission to some of the less popular courses at the college.

To improve your chances of getting into Daulat Ram College, you should try to score well in the CUET exam, which is now used for admissions to all Delhi University colleges. You should also keep an eye on the cut-off marks released by the college each year, and apply for courses that are within your reach.

If you are unable to get admission to Daulat Ram College, you can still try for other good colleges in Delhi University. There are many other colleges that offer excellent courses and have a good reputation.

Here are some tips for increasing your chances of getting into Daulat Ram College:

* Score well in the CUET exam.

* Apply for courses that are within your reach.

Q:   Can I join Daulat Ram College without CUET?

A:

No, you cannot join Daulat Ram College without CUET. CUET is the only entrance exam accepted for admission to Daulat Ram College and other central and participating state universities in India.

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in central universities and participating state universities. The CUET exam was introduced in 2022 to replace the different entrance exams that were previously conducted by individual universities.

The CUET exam consists of three sections:

* Section A: Language Test (English)

* Section B: Domain-specific Test (Science/Mathematics/Humanities)

* Section C: General Test

Candidates can choose to appear for any combination of sections, depending on the programme they are applying to.

To apply for admission to Daulat Ram College, candidates will need to register for the CUET exam and appear for the relevant sections. After the CUET results are declared, candidates will need to register for the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and apply to Daulat Ram College.

The admission process to Daulat Ram College will be based on the candidate's CUET score and other factors such as reservation and extracurricular activities.

If you are interested in applying to Daulat Ram College, I recommend that you start preparing for the CUET exam early. You should also research the college carefully and make sure that it is a good fit for your academic and career goals.

Daulat Ram College Review.
Placements: Placements were not upto the mark for my course and not many students were offered the opportunity to grab the placement facility, which led to almost null placements in my course, whereas other courses did get the opportunity to get placed in companies by the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure should improve and proper hygiene facilities should be arranged in the washrooms, as they are not properly maintained and cleaned, which is not a good thing about the college because it is a basic requirement. Since it is a girls' college, it should be maintained.
Faculty: They all are in consideration with the curriculum and students can easily crack the exams. We were given proper study materials and reading to prepare well for the examinations and were given proper guidance by our teachers during the exam times in the college.
Other: Infrastructure can improve and the overall student-teacher ratio should be improved. Also, there are not enough big rooms in the college to conduct classes for courses which have higher numbers of students.

Life of a student in Daulat Ram University.
Placements: 1) My class has about 56 students, and everyone got admission through the CUET process. 2) The highest package offered was 21.5 LPA; additionally, the average package was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest offered was 2.5 LPA. 3) The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Decathlon, ICICI Bank, etc. 4) In my course, you can opt for research or museum studies.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are average, as they can be above average, as some classrooms have AC and many don't. Also, classes lack a good practical environment, as in many classes the projectors don't work nicely, and the classes get allotted to the wrong rooms with very minimal capacity for students. 2) The internet doesn't work in the college, except for specific places. The library has Wi-Fi. And the facilities of the library are excellent. It provided a good environment and space where you can study and practice. Also, the book collection is up to the mark. 3) As I did not opt for a hostel, I only know about the hostel through my batchmates. The hostel mess is above average as it provides a variety of food and a 4-time meal. The living conditions are also good. Medical, games, and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: 1) The faculty is good. As all professors are well versed in their subjects and have great teaching experiences. They are approachable and also provide practical knowledge in addition to book knowledge. The resources provided by the professors are very helpful for the course. 2) The course curriculum is relevant, as in the fourth year students have to take up research and become even more aware of their course. It will help in the future projects. 3) The semester exams pass on good if you are well prepared from the beginning. If the assignments are taken care of and read well, you will have it prepared and score well in your exams.

An experience for life, mixed feelings about the college, good and bad.
Placements: As a college on the North campus, I expected Big 4s to be there because they were coming up in the other colleges. However, the college didn't provide any opportunity like that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Commerce Department was very poor. The department did not have its own building, and the classrooms were in various stages of construction during my three years of study. As a result, we had to take classes in whatever classrooms were available, including those of other departments such as botany and zoology.
Faculty: Some faculty were very supportive, even for those pursuing courses other than just graduation. However, some faculty were completely against students pursuing other courses and also demoralized them. The curriculum is apt and in accordance with course requirements.

Very good college to develop personality.
Placements: Placements at this college are quite good, with many large companies, including HDFC, participating in recruitment. Last year, 60% to 70% of students were placed. Students with a science background also have opportunities for placement in the research field, depending on their course of study.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and departments are all very well-equipped. Each room has functional AC, Wi-Fi, and projectors, which makes it easier to learn and present concepts. The hostel is also very nice, with all the essential facilities, and the food is great.
Faculty: The faculty in our course are very generous and supportive to students in every way. They are experienced, and their teaching qualities are very good. The curriculum of our course is very advanced. The exams were a bit difficult, but the passing percentage is 90% to 95%.
Other: I chose botany because I have a strong interest in nature, and botany is the subject that is most relevant to it. I am very satisfied with my course and the faculty. As a research student, I need the lab to be more advanced and have a good space for doing research. The college hosts many events, including an annual fest and departmental fests. The various societies also hold their own cultural fests each year, which are a lot of fun. In addition, there are many inter-college competitions, challenges, and activities that make college life much more interesting and enjoyable.

Very good because of faculty and environment.
Placements: Approximately 40 to 50% of students were placed. However, our placement cell is working hard to place students in good companies, and they are bringing in many valuable companies. The highest salary offered was 24 lac, the lowest was 5 lac, and the average salary was 6 lac per annum. Companies that visited our campus include Wipro, KPMG, and ICICI Bank. Approximately 70 to 80% of students got internships from our college in Wipro, NGOs, and other organizations.
Infrastructure: The college has a good library, Wi-Fi, labs, a digital classroom, computer classes, a seminar hall, and an auditorium. The hostel is good, and the food is good enough. The medical facilities are the best in our college, and the sports ground is great.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The course is slightly difficult, and the passing percentage of students in the college is 33%.
Other: I love political science, so I chose to study it at Daulat Ram College. The best thing about my course is that it makes me enthusiastic about learning about the culture and political situation of our surroundings and our nation in detail. However, I think the course should provide more practical knowledge, such as field work. The campus is beautiful, but boys are not allowed. The connectivity, events, campus crowd, surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all good.

The worst infrastructure, yet you are not left out in your academics.
Placements: It does not matter what course you belong to; if you have good communication skills, you will be able to crack any decent placement. DRC placements are not very crowded with top companies, but they provide experience of how the corporate world operates by setting a platform for students to interview with companies.
Infrastructure: DRC's infrastructure is currently one of the worst at Delhi University. We lack proper classrooms and AC-integrated rooms, and basic facilities such as water coolers are not well developed. The sports complex at our college is merely a showpiece; students are not provided with any sports games. DRC is lacking in engaging students in any sports or extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty is decent at DRC; teachers seem dedicated to covering the syllabus on time. Exams are very rigorous, and it is challenging to score marks from our professors. DRC professors do not cancel classes frequently; they work hard to help us understand the concepts.
Other: If a student is capable of making it to Eco Hons, they can opt for the B.A. Program in Economics and Mathematics, which I believe is one of the best combinations to choose for the B.A. program.
