It is difficult to say for certain whether you can get admission to Daulat Ram College with 60% in Class 12th, as the cut-off marks vary each year depending on the number and quality of applicants. Q:   Can I join Daulat Ram College without CUET?

A:

No, you cannot join Daulat Ram College without CUET. CUET is the only entrance exam accepted for admission to Daulat Ram College and other central and participating state universities in India.

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in central universities and participating state universities. The CUET exam was introduced in 2022 to replace the different entrance exams that were previously conducted by individual universities.

The CUET exam consists of three sections:

* Section A: Language Test (English)

* Section B: Domain-specific Test (Science/Mathematics/Humanities)

* Section C: General Test

Candidates can choose to appear for any combination of sections, depending on the programme they are applying to.

To apply for admission to Daulat Ram College, candidates will need to register for the CUET exam and appear for the relevant sections. After the CUET results are declared, candidates will need to register for the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and apply to Daulat Ram College.

The admission process to Daulat Ram College will be based on the candidate's CUET score and other factors such as reservation and extracurricular activities.

If you are interested in applying to Daulat Ram College, I recommend that you start preparing for the CUET exam early. You should also research the college carefully and make sure that it is a good fit for your academic and career goals.

A review of Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The placement rate of the college is really good, with companies like Urban Company and Accenture visiting the campus every year and recruiting several students either as interns or as full-time employees of the company. Recently 8 students have been placed in Urban Company.
Infrastructure: The hostel of the college is outstanding; it is fully air-conditioned and provides the best quality food a hostel can provide in any college. The course is also very good as it encompasses various fields, making it very diverse in itself and opening up more opportunities.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent with good expertise over their subjects, thus helping the students in every step and guiding the students academically. They are very friendly, approachable, and cooperative, making a healthy student-teacher relationship.

My life at DRC, DU. The great hostel life, campus life.
Placements: Good companies come for placement, but the placement is done mostly for commerce and economics students. Top companies like Deloitte and DE Shaw & Co. hire students. Overall, placement is really good if one has a good CGPA and skillset. There is a good per annum salary as well.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, the area is surrounded by nature, and very often one might see peacocks, cats, and birds around. The area is a bit separate from the campus, so as to maintain its peacefulness, and the hostel has its own garden that is very good and well-maintained. The food is good, and laundry facilities are given to ease the student burden. The commerce department is not there in the college, but otherwise, it's good.
Faculty: Teaching quality and studies are great, classes are held regularly, and the syllabus is completed on time. Teachers are very helpful and provide great guidance. The course is relevant to the curriculum and will make the students industry-ready. Semester exams for practical subjects are difficult as compared to theory but help hone our knowledge.
Other: I'd like it more if there were more space on campus and the college time was shorter, but otherwise, everything is great.

An experience for life, mixed feelings about the college, good and bad.
Placements: As a college on the North campus, I expected Big 4s to be there because they were coming up in the other colleges. However, the college didn't provide any opportunity like that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Commerce Department was very poor. The department did not have its own building, and the classrooms were in various stages of construction during my three years of study. As a result, we had to take classes in whatever classrooms were available, including those of other departments such as botany and zoology.
Faculty: Some faculty were very supportive, even for those pursuing courses other than just graduation. However, some faculty were completely against students pursuing other courses and also demoralized them. The curriculum is apt and in accordance with course requirements.

Teachers here are supportive, though the infrastructure is not at par, but the crowd is amazing.
Placements: The placement for specific courses is good. But for my specific course, I haven't seen many people being placed. For courses like Economics and B.Com, people are placed in top companies with a good average package in hand, which is because of the proactiveness of the placement cell.
Infrastructure: Average. The washrooms are clean, but the rooms are limited. Also, the under-construction building has been under construction for years. The rooms are not well maintained, and the campus overall is small, though well maintained. The canteen is okayish.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive overall, and exams and tests are held regularly on time. The curriculum is well-structured, and the faculty is always ready to guide you. The faculty in my specific course is actually good, and they know what exactly they are supposed to teach.

"Comprehensive journey of Economics Honours student at Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The placement rate for Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College is around 60-80%, with salary packages ranging from ?4-15 LPA. Top recruiters include consulting firms like Deloitte and KPMG, and financial giants like Goldman Sachs. Around 50-70% of students secure internships, often with major firms or research organizations. Common roles include business analyst, financial analyst, and consultant. For the most accurate data, the placement cell is the best resource.
Infrastructure: Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College have access to a range of facilities to support their academic and extracurricular activities. The college offers Wi-Fi throughout the campus, well-equipped classrooms, and labs for research and data analysis. The library is stocked with a wide range of economics-related books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are generally comfortable, with basic amenities, although the quality can vary. The food in the mess and canteen is considered average, offering a variety of options. Medical facilities are available on campus with basic care and first aid. For sports and games, the college has sports grounds and facilities for various outdoor and indoor activities.
Faculty: The teachers at Daulat Ram College are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant but could be more industry-focused to enhance practical skills. The semester exams are challenging but manageable for well-prepared students, and the pass percentage is generally good.

The worst infrastructure, yet you are not left out in your academics.
Placements: It does not matter what course you belong to; if you have good communication skills, you will be able to crack any decent placement. DRC placements are not very crowded with top companies,but they provide experience of how the corporate world operates by setting a platform for students to interview with companies.
Infrastructure: DRC's infrastructure is currently one of the worst at Delhi University. We lack proper classrooms and AC-integrated rooms, and basic facilities such as water coolers are not well developed. The sports complex at our college is merely a showpiece; students are not provided with any sports games. DRC is lacking in engaging students in any sports or extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty is decent at DRC; teachers seem dedicated to covering the syllabus on time. Exams are very rigorous, and it is challenging to score marks from our professors. DRC professors do not cancel classes frequently; they work hard to help us understand the concepts.
Other: If a student is capable of making it to Eco Hons, they can opt for the B.A. Program in Economics and Mathematics, which I believe is one of the best combinations to choose for the B.A. program.
