"Comprehensive journey of Economics Honours student at Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The placement rate for Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College is around 60-80%, with salary packages ranging from ?4-15 LPA. Top recruiters include consulting firms like Deloitte and KPMG, and financial giants like Goldman Sachs. Around 50-70% of students secure internships, often with major firms or research organizations. Common roles include business analyst, financial analyst, and consultant. For the most accurate data, the placement cell is the best resource.
Infrastructure: Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College have access to a range of facilities to support their academic and extracurricular activities. The college offers Wi-Fi throughout the campus, well-equipped classrooms, and labs for research and data analysis. The library is stocked with a wide range of economics-related books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are generally comfortable, with basic amenities, although the quality can vary. The food in the mess and canteen is considered average, offering a variety of options. Medical facilities are available on campus with basic care and first aid. For sports and games, the college has sports grounds and facilities for various outdoor and indoor activities.
Faculty: The teachers at Daulat Ram College are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant but could be more industry-focused to enhance practical skills. The semester exams are challenging but manageable for well-prepared students, and the pass percentage is generally good.

Review of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
Placements: About 60% of students get placed. Package offered is quite decent, average, and the highest package offered stands at 5 LPA and 11 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, DEShaw, etc. 80% of the students are enrolled in internships and roles offered are data analyst, market analyst, and researchers.
Infrastructure: There's a minor trouble regarding network in college campus, but due to availability of Wi-Fi in library, it is not an issue. Lots of students who migrated from other states prefer PG over hostel due to non-availability of facilities in college hostel. Food available in the college canteen is pretty average, and students prefer eating outside the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and the curriculum is improved by NEP, providing students with better insights into the course and helping implement theory with real-world problems. Also, NEP introduces skill enhancement courses that make students job-ready. Semester exams are average in terms of difficulty level, but due to the burden of 7 subjects a semester in a limited period of time, it makes it a bit difficult to cover everything that a course can provide.
Other: The best thing about studying economics is being able to study deeply how our economy works, i.e., markets, sellers, and determination of prices. It could have been better if we were taught about the core economics subjects in detail, but due to a limited period of time, teachers are always in a rush to finish the syllabus rather than building an interest for students to learn the subject. College life other than academics is quite fun and happening; there are 15+ societies and 5+ cells to join, and they always come up with something interesting for the students to participate in.

I love the way teacher teach and support .
Placements: 85% of students from the course were successfully placed during the last placement season. 2. The highest, the lowest, and Average Packages the highest Package: ?25 LPA (Lacs Per Annum) the lowest Package: ?3.5 LPA Average Package: ?8 LPA Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, TCS, Infosys, Accenture 4. Internship Statistics 60% of students secured internships through the course. Internship Companies: Unilever, Reliance, Wipro, Tata Steel, Flipkart.
Infrastructure: The food taste nice there also there is a juice shop which serves fresh juice overall you can eat there plus if you want to take your friends there you can buy the service team is slow there quality of food is average. The food was nice but it requires some .
Faculty: Most students find the teachers highly qualified and experienced, with expertise in their respective fields. Teaching quality is rated excellent due to a mix of interactive lectures, real-world examples, and practical applications. 2. Is this course curriculum relevant? Does it make the students industry-ready? The curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends and needs. Hands-on projects, internships, and case studies are integrated into the syllabus to ensure industry readiness.

Average placements, satisfactory infrastructure.
Placements: More than 25% students got placed from my class. The highest package was 20 lacs, and the lowest one would be 3.5 lacs. Average package was 4-5. Top recruiters were HDFC, Tresvista, accenture. Internship opportunities were numerous but mostly in social media marketing and sales kind of positions. Actual technical skill building internships were few only.
Infrastructure: Rooms are not enough, often your classes will be shifted online because of the same. The hostel building is getting reconstructed. So that facility is not available for now. Infrastructure is very poor, auditorium and halls are also not spacious enough. But on the good side, the garden is beautiful, also the infrastructure won't be a big problem once you start there, we have managed up pretty well and it is worth the north campus experience.
Faculty: The teachers are, well, not very helpful, for economics at least, recently, the good helping teachers left and the political, lazy, unhelpful professors are in charge. But there are some good teachers too, especially in the last year, some of them really put in their all into teaching and giving the best notes. Pass percentage is just as in any other college, only a few students failed. The course curriculum is good, there are some additional courses that the college offers. They are useful indeed.
Other: Look out for scholarships, the college has quite a few. Take part in societies, there are many societies. The course is good especially from the point of view of placements, but if placements is your only concern, I would suggest going for B.Com (Hons). Economics Hons is not a corporate course, it is more of theory, I would also suggest not taking the course if you are not ready to solve Maths equations and problems, it will get boring, really boring, focus on building skills. That is going to be very useful. Excel, R are a part of the curriculum. Focus on them. Otherwise the jobs will be just marketing, some or sales related. Campus is okayish, and focus on finding good internships, marketing ones do not really help, you can learn that through college societies too, go for technical internships.
