College Review of DAVIET Jalandhar by a 1st Year Student.
Placements: The majority of the students were placed from the college, with the highest package of about 70 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Microsoft, L&T, and many others. In college, each student is made industry-ready, and proper training is given so that each and every student gets a better placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities are great, and the infrastructure is not the best, but it's great. Wi-Fi doesn't work that well. Besides the library is amazing. It has plenty of study material, including books, notes, test papers, newsletters, and many more. Overall, it's great.
Faculty: The majority of the teachers are GATE-qualified, and they teach very well. All the curriculums are notified to the students on time. Each and every course is designed in such a way that every student gets the knowledge of industry-related problems and is further useful in the future.

Value For Money College with good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In our third year, many companies visited our campus for pre-placement offers. About 95% of my batchmates cleared the aptitude test, for which our professors provided extra classes. Unfortunately, many failed in the last round, so only 40-50% of my classmates were actually placed. Luckily, I was one of them. The highest package was 74 lacs, secured by my senior, and the lowest was 3 lacs. The average was 5-6 lacs. The top recruiters were Infosys and ST Microelectronics.
Infrastructure: The college has good modern infrastructure, including well-ventilated classrooms and labs with ample PCs and air conditioning. The library is centrally organized and has electronic access as well. The library had many books for static GK and current affairs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and ample charging sockets for laptops and phones. There is an international-level football ground, two basketball courts, and great campus nightlife. The canteen is not that great, but other cheaper and better options are available near the college.
Faculty: The faculty were experts in their fields and were always willing to help us learn the latest technologies. They were also very good at helping us develop our professional and soft skills. However, the curriculum was outdated, very easy, and not at all relevant to current market demand. The exams were easy, but the time allotted was insufficient, and many of the questions were repeated. The teachers were capable of teaching a new curriculum, but the curriculum had not changed in many years.
Other: I chose this college because the fees are very low, which allowed me to save money for pursuing my master's degree abroad. I love my college because it has given me a lot of exposure and opportunities, and I was selected for various internships due to the strategic MOUs signed by my college.

    Mediocre college with decent placements.
Placements: The placement trend in CSE department is approximately 70-80% students getting placed every year in majority tier 3 companies based in Mohali. Average package this has been 7-8 LPA. A student even got a package of 70 LPA in a USA based company. Mole roles offered are of Software Development Engineer (SDE). Minimum package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with projector screens and sound system in each class. Wi-Fi facility is in the entire campus. The library is the best thing in this college, with good interior, every type of books available and also an e-learning section available. Canteen food is good. Hostel has AC and non-AC rooms, Wi-Fi, medical facility at any time of the day, and a gym as well.
Faculty: The teachers are decently qualified with good skills. The course curriculum is not up to date. There are 2 mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam, difficult ranging from medium to hard. Pass percentage is 40%. Mid-semester exams contribute to the internal marks of each subject.

Overall, good performance and management .
Placements: More than 90% of students are placed every year in reputed companies; the highest package is 15 LPA for freshers, and the average package is 4–7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, GreyB, etc. 100% of students got internships. The top roles offered in my course are web development and software engineering .
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and library management and infrastructure are very good. There is also the availability of Wi-Fi. Classrooms are spacious and in labs there is huge availability of computers. Hostels are also in good condition, and the food provided by the mess is good. My college also has medical facilities; there is a canteen and a sandwich shop in my college.
Faculty: The staff and faculty of our college are top-notch. Teachers are very helpful, cooperative and interactive with their students. Their teaching methods are also good. Yes, the curriculum made students capable of real-world applications. But the curriculum should be more practical. According to me, exams are moderate. Some are tough and some are easy.
Other: Nowadays, technology has become a major part of our lives. So I opted for this course and I also have an interest in the IT field. The course should be more practical; this is the one thing I would like to improve. Our college also held events like the annual tech fest, sports meet, and freshers. They provide NSS scholarships and PMS scholarships to eligible students.

It is a good college with many students.
Placements: More than 50% of students in our batch got placed before the start of this new year. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, the average salary package is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Many companies like Paxcom, Grey, etc., offer placements in our college. Software engineer or developer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in every block. Labs and classrooms are average. The library has old edition books. I am a day scholar so can't say about the hostel. Some students like the food served in the mess.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well-qualified. The course curriculum is outdated and is only suitable to score CGPA. Every student has to put in the effort to get ready for industry.

DAVIET College review for B.Teach CSE.
Placements: Placements are good. Decent students easily get placed. The highest salary package offered in our college is about 70 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 10 LPA. Internships and training provided in our college are good.
Infrastructure: Our college is entirely Wi-Fi operated. So students can easily connect to Wi-Fi anywhere in the college. Classrooms may vary from course to course. Some classrooms are better, and some are not so good. Our college has 2 floors for the library and it is very well managed.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-educated and helpful. Students can easily understand every concept in the class if they are good students. Curriculum followed is of PTU which may be a bit old and the final exam question papers are from university only.
