It is the top college in Kolkata.
Placements: There were no placements in this college because it is not an engineering, management, or medical college. It was a general line education college. In our college, practical classes and theory classes were conducted very well. Our college is one of the best colleges in south Kolkata.
Infrastructure: In this college, there were no hostel accommodations. The practical classes and theory classes were conducted very well. Faculty members were very enriched and good. They always try to give students the best knowledge with 100% of efficiency. The canteen was also good.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. They were from the top institutions from various sides of India. They were from IIT, IISC, TIFR, etc. Our college belongs to Calcutta university which is one of the best universities in India nowadays. Exam papers were very good in this college.

A good college with some great teachers.
Placements: For our course, there were no placements provided on our campus. So, the percentage of students who got jobs through campus placements is zero. Even for our senior batches, there were no placements. So in terms of placements, Dinabandhu Andrews College is not at all the perfect one if anyone is planning to take admission in any of the Science UG courses. But for commerce course, students from some of the batches placed through campus placements.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities. But I think if the college offers a hostel, then most of the students can get an opportunity. Especially the poor students will be happy. Students from other districts will get a chance to join this college. The college is non-A/C as most colleges under the University of Calcutta. There is an open stage where college functions take place. The college was a huge canteen, but the food supply is irregular. The classrooms are big and airy, and the labs though not modernised are still enough for undergraduate level.
Faculty: The teachers are good, well-behaved and helpful. Especially, the faculty in the mathematics department are good. They help us any time and anywhere. Especially, TP sir (Tarun sir) helps us very much. The chemistry department is a good department in our college, and also physics department.
Other: I won't say that this college has the best infrastructure but it has moderate infrastructure. The whole college is enabled with Wi-Fi facility. The library contains necessary books for everyone. The canteen is good. There is a common room for students. The labs are good. The classroom are not big but good. The college has small playground, park and small lake infront of the college.

It is a good college with some great teachers.
Placements: There are very low chances for placements. Around 10% or less students get placed in our college. I don't know about the companies that come here. But most of our college students got jobs on their own. No internships are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The college is very good in terms of infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available, but it's only for teachers. Labs are great, and they have a good collection of instruments. The classrooms and library are really excellent. There is no hostel in our college, but there are lots of hostels nearby.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. There are many cultural events in our college. The curriculum does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, but the passing percentage is great.
Other: I love Physics, that is why I chose this course. Physics is used everywhere in the world. Our instruments are good, but they can be better.

This college is excellent, and I would recommend students to take admission in it.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed in our course. Almost 45% of students get internships from our course. Many kinds of roles are offered in our course like a junior engineer, businessman, civil services, police, difference, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. It is clean and the behavior of our teachers are great friendly. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students, but teachers can use it. Our college does not provide mess or hostel, but on surrounding, there are many.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and their behavior is great. They talk to students like friends but they have many things to learn from them. The semester is difficult but the teachers studied everything. The pass percentage is 25 so it is easy to get pass.
Other: I love the subject science, so I decided to study it. It has a great opportunity for jobs in this course. The books are good but they can be improved.

Faculty members are very good, but the placements for science students are zero.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus for students. Although in the library, one can use the internet on the computer. But there are only two computers for students, which most of the times, are occupied by students. The library of Dinabandhu Andrews College is pretty good. List of books available is accessible through library computers, and there are hard copies of lists as well. Laboratories are average. Most of the good instruments are used only during the examination, and in the remaining time, students are asked to perform experiments on the old setup. Not all the instruments are bad, few are completely new and give good accuracy. The instruments and the entire laboratory lack maintenance. A thin layer of dust has been accumulated on a few instruments. We were given a broken prism to perform experiments. They did not change it in my 3-year tenure. There is no playground on the campus. Students play cricket and football on the ground of a club, attached to the campus.
Faculty: All the teachers in the department of physics are highly qualified. They are friendly enough and helpful as well. Class tests and viva are conducted on a regular basis. Quality of teaching is good. Teachers help us in clearing our doubts and give us opportunities to think innovatively. But since this college is affiliated to University of Calcutta, the course curriculum is hectic and students are pressurised. A student has to study really hard to score 60% in finals.
Other: In 2016, I took part in West Bengal State Students Youth Science Fair 2016, representing our college. With prior permission of our honourable principal sir, who assured me to reimburse the amount I spend on the project, I made an expense of almost Rs. 20,000 in order to make my project. I made a quadcopter and presented it there. But after the fair, when I came to college to show the project, one of the important parts of the project was broken on the way, so I could not make the quadcopter in front of our principal sir. So, the college denied to give me money for that, even after showing my participation certificate to them. I suggest you never expect any such thing from the college.
