Our college falls under the CU category.
Placements: After finishing B.Sc in physics honors, there are a lot of career options which include an MBA in data science by giving the CAT exam, MBA in IT, PG diploma in data science, PG diploma in astronomy in which students can give exams of ISRO, i.e., the IIST exam in Trivandrum, PG in nanotechnology, and radiology science to get into the medical-oriented field.
Infrastructure: There are basics of some sports and entertainments mainly to study. There are football fields, tennis courts, and a massive library. The library is awesome and contains many books.
Faculty: All the teachers are non-biased towards anyone, and they are friendly. They even give permission to call them at any time in the morning or night. Before the exams, we used to call them around 1 PM at midnight. They were some fun people.

The laboratories and instruments are very well managed.
Placements: It is a very good college if any aspirants want to go for higher study in physics. It has added new PG courses in physics. There aren't many placements, but many of our students went abroad to study in eminent colleges and completed it.
Infrastructure: It has a good library with over 1200+ books to look for reference. The laboratories are well-equipped. The rooms are spacious. A modern computer lab is available. The faculty members and the lab attendants are always helpful. The canteen and gym are nowadays closed, so it is a demerit. First-aid and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are very well-qualified and genuine, and their teaching method is unique. They have the ability to give a real-life view of subjects and programs. Seminars clicked the genuine passion for the subjects in every student for 3-years.

My college review. Satisfactory college life and good teachers.
Placements: Since it is a subject-major course, not many students were placed; most went on to pursue a master's degree, and some prepared for government exams. I am not aware of any internships provided by the university, but they are available at the Ph.D. level. Students who pursued a master's degree were highly motivated to seek internships outside.
Infrastructure: As a Science department, specifically Physics department, student, we had a very well-equipped and efficiently working lab. We had lab assistants to always take care of any minor needs we faced. The classrooms were small but had a computer and a projector. We had a very large library and one library specifically for master’s students. Sports and medical facilities were okay, but washrooms and canteen facilities were not up to the mark.
Faculty: The teachers were more than qualified and had the skill set for teaching. They were strict but considerate. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:5, and teachers integrated personally with students, though not enough. Semesters were a bit tough at the university as we had to cover a huge syllabus.
Other: This has always been my favorite subject, and you learn about Physics from scratch. Our college organizes fests and seminars quite often. Freshers and farewells were also held, along with other festivities and camps.

It is one of the good colleges in Kolkata to pursue physics.
Placements: You don't get a chance of getting placements as compared to engineering college, but sometimes they host some events where many companies come and make students to participate. It also helps students to pursue a career with that, but it is occasionally.
Infrastructure: We had pretty much good infrastructure in our course, but we don't have hostel facilities. There are many messes around college, and anyone can stay there. There is a separate mess for boys and girls. Students can even apply for university hostel facilities, and they will approve it as per your data given to them.
Faculty: Faculty members here are average, but some are very good. We have one of the best faculty members in physics around Calcutta, and even other faculty members are also good. Zoology and other departments are good, but the lab assistant is below-average.
