I would not recommend students to take admission in it.

Placements: In this college, placements are not good. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 10,000 per month to Rs 15,000 per month. The roles are very simple and not worthy. The students will be charged less, and placements training is waste of time.

The worst placements in the college.

Placements: The placements were not upto the mark. Only students with more than 8.5 CGPA were allowed to attend interview for core companies. Most of the companies that came for placements were BPOs. I got selected for a core company but I never received any placement offer nor call from the company. Literally, half of the students were not placed.

Better choose other college for the best career.

Placements: Only a few are called for jobs. Other students are not getting the offer letters for the jobs they have been placed. Simply keeping the flex on the campus and saying that they have good placements. It is an incident happened with the Boston Technologies Company where 125 students got placed, but it was fake. The placement officer was fake, and he says you should get placed on your own, not by the college. I do not know why they are taking extra money for the placement training. ...

Please don't choose this college.

Placements: Only IT and non-core companies came for placements. Southernland, CSS Corp, Maruti Suzuki sales and executive (off-campus), Indiabulls Home Loan, etc. are the companies that visited our campus. They offered a maximum package of 1.5 lakh per annum. Mostly BPOs came for placement. For placement, they have taken 2500 rupees from us. The worst placement I have ever seen. From our batch, nobody is well settled still now.

You do not want to choose this college.

Placements: Placement companies did not come to us as we had expected. There were unsatisfactory placements. BPOs hired a few students. The college collects the placement fees but no one is selected in the placements. I have never seen such an institution. You need a good education to get a job if you do not choose the college.

Poor management, poor placement, no knowledgeable staff . I would never suggest DMI to anyone.

Placements: I am not much satisfied with the placements. Only BPOs visit the college. I have never seen a core company visiting our college for placements. About 30% of the students get placed in BPOs. The college collects placement fees from all the students and provides training only to the students who are eligible. So the amount paid by the most of the students are literally stolen by the management.

DMI College of Engineering works just like any other Engineering College in TN. Faculty in DMI are both experienced and few fresh ME grad's. Placement was out of the question when we passed out (2009). They had this IT recession as an excuse to keep placement out of our curriculum (Placement training was given but very minimal placement assistance was there). I am not sure about the placements right now. But as I am working as an HR in a corporate company, DMI College is still not in our list of...

Our college is average and is not value for money.

Placements: Around 40 to 50% of placements are provided but they say that they provide 100% placements. The highest salary package was 4.5 LPA but they say 16 LPA. There are not much recruiting companies. They don't check the company background but need 100% of students getting placed.

Our college is the worst in everything.

Placements: Most of the students got placed but with very low salary package.
