The number of seats available for the B.Tech programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research:

Admission to the B.Tech programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research in Pune, India is based on an entrance test and the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). 

To be eligible for admission, students must: 

Qualify in the MHTCET or JEE Main with a good score

Have qualified in 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category)

Paying the application form fee

Receiving the payment receipt

Acknowledging the online application form

Sending the duly filled in and signed application form by speed post, courier, or hand delivery for verification and confirmation

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research is as follows:

1) The Candidate should be an Indian National 

2) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks     (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

(iii) Obtained score in CET/ JEE Main Paper I conducted by the Competent Authority.
