Review of Ethiraj College for Women (Ethiraj).

Placements: In this college, not many placements were offered for this course, and no core companies visit to hire students. Other technology companies were TCS and CTS, and they take students for non-technical roles. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The internships were referred by our professors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities were good. The laboratories were well-equipped and the experiment was done individually. The library was also very good. Academic books were available which students can issue for studying. The hostel facilities were decent.

Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and they were very good. Their teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate to easy, and the pass percentage was 100%.

Other: I chose this course, because it is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu. This course provides a lot of scope in the future. Several events and fests were held in this college.

I will recommend this college as it is in the top 10 colleges for arts and science in Chennai.

Placements: They placed more than 10 students. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are research companies, and TCS has also recruited for BPS posting. Above 55 and 60% of students can enter into internships. Top roles are research assistant, and assistant professor.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and the library provides more books and internet connection. The quality of food served is excellent and you cannot find such food from any other hostel and it is freshly prepared. They give more opportunities for sports students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent both offline and online. They interact more with students. The course curriculum is more relevant and makes the students ready for industry. The semester exams are easy because they provide 40% marks in internals. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because it is a different type of course. The best thing is that they conduct practicals. If they provide internships it will improve the quality of the course. They provide scholarships and extracurricular activities also.

Our college is good. I highly recommend students join this college.

Placements: About 70% of students get placed in our department. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, Dell, and Microsoft visit the college for placements. Above 60% of students get an internship from more companies. The top roles offered are HR and researcher.

Infrastructure: The library has a good infrastructure, and it has self-supporting classes. Labs are moderate. I highly recommend students to join the hostel. The food served is good at an affordable price. There are two canteens in our college. Sports and games are highly recommended in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated and qualified. They are friendly, and they do not involve in our personal things. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester examinations are easy because most of the students score more marks in the internal exams.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is different from practical knowledge. If they provide some courses, it will be useful. They provide scholarships for students and hostel students, especially for SC and ST students. It conducts a minimum of one or two events per month.

It is absolutely a good college.

Placements: During our placements, many good companies visited the campus to recruit us. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Standard Chartered, RR Donnelly, Indian Public School, various labs, Scope, BNP Paribas, etc., came to the college. Most of them got placed with good salaries.

Infrastructure: We have well-equipped labs, well-ventilated classrooms, spacious library with one lac books, and different sports activities are conducted. There is a spacious medical room with a doctor available every time. We have a large playground and a tennis court. A government bank is available on the campus. Very hygienic and well spacious cafeteria is available. We have 2 college campuses, three colleges. The restrooms are neat. There are 3 hostel blocks with well-ventilated rooms.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. They mingle very well with the students. They have good knowledge. They are approachable at any time. They give good theoretical and practical knowledge. All the faculty are postgraduates with doctorate degrees.

Other: Several fests are conducted in the college. Some of them are Aarambh and Maithri.

Placements: We were offered opportunities from many good companies like wipro, CTS, TCS, hcl etc. 70% of the students were placed in campus and were offered with roles in which we were trained. We were well payed and had yearly hikes. 90% of students got internship from college. We had a placement cell for our college.
