Review of G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Our course is newly introduced in our college. The maximum salary package offered is 40 LPA. The recruiting technical companies are Infosys, Mahindra, Tata, and finance companies like Reliance, etc.

Infrastructure: Our campus has three huge buildings, such as academic building, the women building, and the poly building. The academic building is the main building of our campus. Polytechnic building is provided for polytechnic classes, and the women's building is provided for every essential class. It has three canteens, a basketball court, a short football court, two badminton courts, a unisex gym, an indoor games room, three beautiful gardens with a green gym, a temple, a huge cricket field, a grand parking lot with premium turbos, and a fourth floor.

Faculty: Many faculty members are available in our college but newcomers are a bit down in discipline. The director of our college is very good. The course curriculum is the best and students can grab it very easily. Semester exams are conducted strictly and are hard. The pass percentage is based on the top marks.

Other: I chose this course to build strong technical knowledge in the hardware and software sectors. Students of our course can study circuits and coding. Many events, fests, and activities are organised on campus in a year. New faculty members are not good.

The college just provides the opportunities, but we have to grab them with our own skills.

Placements: As my batch is the second batch of B. Tech in Information Technology at our college and the first batch is only in its 3rd year, I can't comment on the placement scenario for B. Tech in Information Technology yet. However, by observing the placements of other branches, it seems that the placement opportunities in our college are below average. In our IT department, there are a few individuals who have secured internships by improving their skills.

Infrastructure: We have a good infrastructure for our course. The college campus is large, with playgrounds for competitions and lawns that provide a relaxing and enjoyable environment. Regarding internet connectivity, it is reliable only when you are outdoors on campus. However, it worsens significantly inside the buildings, especially in classrooms. The labs are decent - neither exceptional nor inadequate. Classrooms provide a good learning experience. Each of the three buildings has a library, making them ideal spaces for studying.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified to teach us and do their best to prepare us for the industry. With the implementation of changes under the NEP (National Education Policy) scheme, students now have the option to choose open electives based on their interests. Since our college is autonomous, the exams are quite easy. While they may seem tough for freshers, from my observations in the last semesters, around 35% to 40% of students received backlogs in some subjects.

Other: Our college hosts numerous events throughout the semester, but the most prominent one is 'Antaragini'. It is usually held in February. During this event, the college is well-decorated, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. This event lasts for five to six days. In March, Techcrunch is organized, where all departments arrange events and competitions for students from other departments. The competitions during Techcrunch are more technically oriented, helping students enhance their skills and gain valuable experience in their respective fields.
