It's my college GVPCEW's review.

Placements: Around 69% of students will get placed every year in the college, but the 2023-24 batch was facing placement issues due to a recession. The highest package is 24LPA, the lowest is 2.4 LPA, and the average package is 6LPA. The most recruiting companies are Infosys, Candela, Wipro, TCS, etc. Every year around 40-50% of students get internship opportunities from the college. The most offered positions for computer science students are software development and full-stack development.

GVPW is good for the all-round development of students.

Placements: Many students got placed this year compared to the last two years. In this college, placement opportunities knock at your doorstep, it is just that you have to be willing to work for it. It is better to have an aggregate of 75% or above to get good placement opportunities. The higher is your percentage, the higher will be the chances of being eligible for various companies.

Great quality of education and limited campus placements.

Placements: There are very limited individual placements. There were no internships provided. Placements happened including two or more colleges. Less than 10 percent of the students got placed in campus placements. There was no follow up too after relieving from college. We get very less information on job fairs, etc.

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women.

Placements: Last year, 54 or more students were selected for the campus interviews from our college. We have students recruited for jobs with the salaries varying from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh. But no one got the jobs with high salaries. When compared to the total strength, the number 54 is very less. The skills of the students are not reaching the requirements of the companies, and the students must be given better training.
