Highly satisfied with faculty and placements. Good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 84 percent of students were placed in the year 2022-23 in my course. The highest package is around 20 LPA, while the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package in mechanical engineering in our college is 5-6 LPA. The list of top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Hyundai, L&T, Tata Elxsi, Cognizant, VNC, and Kenexa. Around 75 - 85 percent of students got internships in various companies like hyundai, tcs, kia motors. Machines designer, machines manufacturer, data analyst, and full-sack engineer.
Infrastructure: The college labs are well-equipped with all the necessary machinery and tools required for performing various complex experiments. All the labs also provide free Wi-Fi. The library is well-equipped with all the books for various courses and Wi-Fi is also available. The classroom are neat and has comfortable benches to sit on. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The college hostel is very tidy and clean. The food is also hygienic and healthy. The food provided in the college is very hygienic. The college also consists of good medical facilities and good sports and gym equipment is also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields and are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum for our course is very relevant and it keeps on Updating. The students are trained with many skills required for various industries. The semester exams are somewhat difficult to the students. However the pass percentage is around 90-95 percent.
Other: I have chosen this course as I'm very much passionate in pursuing mechanical engineering. The college conducts various events like freshers parties and annual day.

Good college for placements with good infrastructure.
Placements: As of now, 40 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 30 lacs, and the average package is 6 lacs. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. In our department, 80 percent got internships related to mechanical engineering in the HL Mando company, and others did theirs in AICTE and in other colleges. Top roles are data analyst and full-stack engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided for computer labs. Some classrooms have projectors for better understanding, and there is a library for students where every book related to his/her course is available. Hostel facilities are also good; the maintenance and security are very good, and the hostel food provided is nice and decent, with a variety of dishes for every day. There is only one canteen provided, and there is no sitting area. The canteen should be renovated, in my opinion. Sports are also available; competitions are held. The college has a ground to play any kind of sport.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and interactive with students; they help us by guiding us toward our goals, and teachers are qualified with at least an M.Tech. The course will be relevant to the branch selected, making it possible to get placed in good companies related to that branch. The difficulty level is moderate, and the pass percentage is 68 percent.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in the mechanical side. This course provided me with an understanding of the hardware and mechanisms of the systems and surroundings. This also teaches about the design of the elements, CAD/CAM, and AutoCAD. I hope for the improvement of new equipment for the labs and improvement of the canteen. There will be events like a fest and Annaya's day once a year, around May or June. There are clubs like NSS, Rotaract, and an extracurricular activities club for more interaction with social activities.

Knowledge is divine and money.
Placements: Fifty percent of students were placed last year. The highest package is 3 Lacs. Amazon and other top companies recruit from our college. Eighty to ninety percent of students got internships from the aforementioned companies. Machine learning is the top course. As a project manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The labs and infrastructure of our college are good and have good network facilities. The hostel offers good food and average infrastructure. Quality food is available in the college canteen as well as in the hostel. The hostel rooms are cleaned daily and maintained well.
Faculty: Well-qualified teachers are supportive of students and come up with new projects that help in future inventions. Yes, the curriculum is also good, providing more knowledge about modern industries. The exams are somewhat difficult, with a 70-80 percent pass rate.
Other: My course is mechanical robotics, chosen because of AI learning. Many fests like Ekathara are cultural fests.

If your dream is to get good company, then you have to join GVP College.
Placements: About 70% of students with no backlogs are getting placed in our college. The highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA and the average is 4-5 LPA. Companies like Vedha, Amaraja, Pinnacle, and HCL are top recruiters for mechanical and chemical branch students. A few students got internships through AICTE at our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Computer labs are good and have good Wi-Fi. The library is too good for me. But for me, the college food is not good. There is no non-vegetarian food cooked. The hostel fee is also high. Our college sports field is too small.
Faculty: The teachers have very good academic qualifications, and their teaching is very good. They are friendly with us. The semester exams are not too tough. But if you are good at academics and keep up with your teacher, you will get good marks. The teachers make students industry-ready by teaching various courses .
Other: I am very interested in automobiles and vehicles so I have chosen this course. One thing I don't like is that the curriculum is old. They have been teaching the same syllabus for 10 years. Our college doesn't conduct fests because they don't like them. They only conduct technical fests once a year. The campus is good.

I am satisfied with the college atmosphere, but I felt slightly disappointed regarding placements.
Placements: In the last year, the maximum number of students who passed out from the Mechanical branch were less than 100. The highest package for our group is 6 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Most students have done internships at HL Mando in Chennai, and I am doing my internship at Jindal Steel. The top companies are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. The top roles offered in my course are as the best designer for automobile or engine parts.
Infrastructure: The college has a library that also contains a digital library. The classrooms are neat and clean with a smart board in every class. There are different rooms for seminars and events. The hostel is maintained neatly, but the food in the hostel is not good in taste, although it contains Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The faculty of our branch are good and have great teaching skills with a pretty nice grip on the subject, which allows them to teach well. Our college has various labs with a variety of instruments, which helps the students gain not only book knowledge but also increase practical knowledge. The semester exams are moderate, which we can pass easily but it is hard to gain a high CGPA.
Other: I'm passing out in the year 2025. I chose this course because I was interested in mechanics, so I just tended to choose this course. The best thing about my course is gaining practical knowledge and understanding how machines work. I wish to improve our course infrastructure as it just looks clumsy. My college conducts fests once a year where there are many rules to obey and follow. Compared to other colleges, the conducting of events is not so frequent.
