Very good choice if you are looking for place to enjoy and at same time shape your future .
Placements: More than 50% students gets campus placement. Companies like amazon tata reliance offer placements here. Package offered ranges from 6 Lacs to 30 lacks per annum. The college also help in finding internship programs. College also provide soft skills and other courses.

Faculty: Experienced and well qualified faculty members. Expert assistance in labs. Affiliated to JNTUK, NAAC A+ grading. There are 8 semesters in total for 4 years. Exams are not so hard but valuation is very strict. Pass percentage for each subject is 35%.

Dissatisfied because of the college bad infrastructure.
Placements: I am pursuing petroleum engineering for 3 rd year. Most candidates should maintain their 65% in their academics without any backlogs and are eligible for campus interviews. The highest package that one of my senior students placed in Infosys got 3.46 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have two campuses for engineering. Classrooms are good, with no Wi-Fi access to day scholar students. Even in the hostel students have Wi-Fi but average connectivity. Library maintenance is good in both the engineering campuses of GIER Autonomous and GITE affiliated to jntuk. Mess food is average and canteen food is normal.
Faculty: The faculty that are having for our branch is good and knowledgeable. Studying for semester exams is up to your part. If you do not study with proper preparation you cannot pass, even if you have good internal exam marks. There are no proper placements for any branch except computer science engineering students. However, if you study any branch there is only one option for doing Jobs in software companies.

I suggest not to prefer this college.
Placements: None of the students got placements in our batch. The only company that came for placements belongs to the IT sector. None of the students got a chance for internships too. There were no companies in placements related to our branch even our district was good in this sector for providing jobs.
Infrastructure: We didn't have any labs for our core subjects. Classrooms were good, but departments don't even have proper washrooms. The library was good. We had games only in the 1st year. The canteen was good. Wi-Fi was provided here, but it wasn't that good. Medical facilities were good too.
Faculty: Students won't even know the world after getting out of college. Lecturers have very limited knowledge, and their teaching quality was also bad. Lecturers don't make students ready to face the outside world and for jobs. Lecturers were not even qualified for this job.
Other: I have chosen this course because it had a great demand. Our college wasn't good, and we don't even have subject-related textbooks.

Our college provides very good infrastructure, facilities and placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are good for our course. A lot of companies visit the college and select a lot of students every year. There are only 30% of petroleum students because petroleum engineering is difficult to study and is a rare subject. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure in our department. We have Wi-Fi, and petroleum core subject labs are available. There is high-cost equipment in our labs. Classrooms are good, and the library is huge and good. Hostel facility is also available. The quality of the food served is good. Medical facilities and Wi-Fi are available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly talented persons. They teach well in classes. They are PhD holders and are highly knowledgeable persons. Teachers have good technical skills, and they know all about the petroleum industry and their recourses.
Other: GIET Engineering college is a Professional College. There is a lot of space. Petroleum Engineering is one of the rare subjects. A lot of events like Mythri, etc., are held on campus.
