Goa College of Engineering is good.
Placements: Placements are given to many students as long as their percentage is maintained. Many companies like SESA and Vedanta come to give opportunities to students. Internships in different mining companies are given, mostly in Karnataka. The average salary offered is around 3 lakhs. Many students can get internships which are offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The department is brand new and well built. It's very big and has an auditorium where events are held. There's a main hall also where speeches are held for events like fresher's day and many departments' inaugurations are held in our building. The canteen food is good and is not expensive, so it's good for the students. The hostel is nice and the rules are lenient. The people are very nice. The rooms are big and can hold 3 to 4 people.
Faculty: The faculty is nice and helpful. They answer all questions which are asked patiently and don't have any problems with the students. They teach very well and use good teaching methods by helping us with projects, etc. We get industry exposure at various different mines and the course curriculum is very useful.
