The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognised GIM's Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme as equivalent to an MBA degree. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme provided by Goa Institute of Management (GIM). GIM Goa admission process requires candidates to follow some steps such as registration, selection rounds and admssion confirmation. Candidates need to qualify national-level Management entrance exams for admission to GIM courses. GAAT is GIM Aptitude Test conducted by the institute for admission to PGDM BDA and PGDM BDA + MSc Business Analytics. Aspirants need to register for the course of their choice by paying the application fee. Once the entrance exam is conducted, selected candidates need to come for a personal interview round. The total tuition fees of PGDM course ranges between INR 5.3 lakh and INR 19.4 lakh. In case, a candidates is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates need to pay a application fee to apply for admission.

The application fee ranges between INR 1,750 and INR 3,000 plus GST depending on the time of application for one or two courses. The fee increases, if a candidates applies for more than two courses.

Admission to GIM Goa is entrance-based. Candidates must first apply for admission via online mode. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, candidates must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. FPM admission is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ JRF and other score followed by a personal interview round. The institute also considers academic performance, work experience, etc. for final selection to FPM course.

Yes, Goa Institute of Management offers decent placements for its PGDM courses every year. As per the latest report, the highest package offered during GIM Goa placements in 2024 stood at INR 29 LPA.
