2nd best college for textile department.
Placements: More than 95% of students from Textile Technology branches got on-campus placement in 2024-25. The highest package given by the companies is 18 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Actually, this college has only TT and APM placement. There are few placement opportunities for CSE and IT students.
Infrastructure: Our course has good infrastructure but not so well and clean compared to private colleges. No Wi-Fi is available for students. Our college has 4 departments, and labs are available. The library is available, and it's so clean and has a good collection of books. Our college has no hostel for 1st and 2nd-year students, so I have no knowledge about hostel facilities.
Faculty: A few teachers are very friendly and well-behaved. They help us during our regular study. They are so knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is 4 years. For the Textile department, college study is enough for placement. It makes one job-ready. College semester exams are moderate. The average pass percentage is 90%.

A college for textile industry.
Placements: 100% placements are there in our course. Highest package is 9 LPA and the least package is about 3.5 LPA. Trident and Jayashree are the top recruiting companies. 60-70% students get internship in the above-mentioned companies.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi with 3G speed. Labs are well modified with old machines and also, there are ACs in few labs. Classrooms are cleaned after every month. Hostel facilities are so poor. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is awesome. Medical facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are IITians. All the teachers are so helpful and inspirational. Teaching quality is A grade. The course totally makes students industry ready. Pass percentage is 5 cgpa. Semester exams are easy for those who attend all the classes.

Good faculty members below average infrastructure and decent placement .
Placements: Generally it provides 100% placement however the reach is pretty average. Top recruiting companies vary for different stream such as Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Jayashree Textiles, Trident, Vardhaman etc. It may vary. Average package goes around 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: College hostel is in the phase of reconstruction. General facilities are only available. Internet connection problems occurs frequently. Classrooms are not kept clean but the college has ample space. Library offers great collection of books to the students to read and refer.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty mixed. You may get some really good mentors who are going to guide you throughout or may get unnoticed by others. Opinion may differ. Semester exams are just like other counterparts. Just make sure to keep your assignments ready on time.
Other: Take your courses only if it interests you otherwise you may be left out in the heard. Opportunities are there. Annual fest is a celebration not to miss. It might not be like IITs but it has its own grandeur.

Decent, promising placements every year, good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Every year, between 95-100% students get placed in the textile sector. Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, Welspun, Jayashree Textiles, Vardhaman, Himantsingka, Raymond, and many others are among the major employment companies. The initial roles available in this course are GETs and roles comparable to them, with an average package of 3.5-4 LPA. Every student is given an opportunity to intern at well-known companies as well as in the aforementioned ones.
Infrastructure: Being one of the oldest textile colleges, the infrastructure is old but new buildings have been made, and the college also has all the facilities. Labs, classrooms, and Libraries are all well-equipped and furnished. Hostels are situated within the college campus but are only provided for male students.
Faculty: Here the students are taught and guided by some of the best and most experienced teachers in this industry. The course curriculum is also relevant. The quality of education being imparted is commendable. The students are ready to step into the industry with a bunch of knowledge and experience.
Other: Apart from academics, internships, and projects, the college also helps students to indulge in other activities by conducting various intercollege sports events and competitions.

Best Government engineering college for textile technology.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in our course Textile Technology. The highest package of the course is 6 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Jayshree, Raymond, Sahi, and more. Approximately 80% of students got internships in textile technology in Jayshree, Sahi. Specializations like Master of Technology, Master of Engineering after Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering are available.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructures all around are well manner. There is wi-fi and labs free of cost as it is a government engineering college. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is better. All types of food items are available in our hostel canteen at a cheap value. There is also the availability of medical facilities, sports, and games on our college premises.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, and adequately knowledgeable. They teach us with well-decorated quality and quantity of knowledge. This course is curriculum relevant. It makes the students ready for industry perspective. Semester exams are neither too difficult nor too much easy. The pass percentage is around 85.
Other: Since my childhood, I prefer textile technology as my passion. I wanted to be a textile engineer. That's why I chose the Textile Technology course. I think the quantity and quality of laboratory and facility infrastructure should be improved for better performance. We enjoy many cultural events and a fest every calendar year. During the annual cultural program, extracurricular activities are shown. Poor but meritocracy students are provided some amount of scholarship every year to support their financial state.

Higher secondary marks doesn’t matter, if you score well in WBJEE and take admission through counselling. But, if you want to take direct admission in management quota, then higher secondary marks matters .All the best.
