* Hostels are available for both boys and girls, with a canteen nearby, but the quality of food is not excellent.
* Medical dispensaries are available on campus.

Teaching Quality:

* Teaching techniques are impressive, with smartboards and audio-visual aids used effectively.
* The college prioritizes personality development, technology readiness, and command of contemporary environments.

Other Aspects:
* The college hosts annual technical fests, such as Kaushalam, which includes sports events.

* Limited Job Opportunities: Around 20% of students get placed annually, with the highest salary package being around INR3.75 LPA and the lowest being around INR1.5 LPA. * Internship Training Provided: Although limited, the college offers internship opportunities through organizations like CTTC and NTPC, allowing students to gain hands-on experience.
* Placement Cell Effort: While the college tries to organize campus drives and coach students for GATE and ESE examinations, the overall placement process seems to be inadequate due to a lack of industry connections and resources.

This is unfair and an unnecessary step, as the meritorious students go for competitive exams and do not take the opportunity of campus placement or the job in hand.

Very healthy and ragging free environment .
Placements: Around 10-15% students are placed. The highest package in this session is 6.2lpa and the lowest package in this session is 3.7 LPA. The average is around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, Gainwell, etc. 10 students are selected in Gainwell and Infosys.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostel for boys and girls with a healthy friendly environment. College is embedded with highly experienced faculty members, and professors. Our college has a library reading room, separate labs for different departments. Hostel facility is available with mess.
Faculty: Our college is best known for quality teaching. The teachers are very experienced, qualified, and intellectual. The curriculum emphasizes personality development, technology readiness, and command of the contemporary environment.
Other: I was interested in electrical entities. In electrical field there is lot of undiscoverable things which we didn't know in outer world. The mechanism of the power flow energy generation production is quite interesting and this has complex practical knowledge in nature. I think certain changes should be done, like in the laboratory, proper presentation about the experiments should be done. Our college host Kaushalam (annual technical fest ) every year, which also include sports events.

Eco friendly environment and ragging free campus .
Placements: In my college, around 10-20% of students are placed. The lowest package 3. 5 LPA, the average package is 4.5 LPA, and the highest package is 6.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Larsen & Turbo, Gainwell, and Tata Steel visited for placement. Approximately 5 students were chosen for Gainwel, 5 for Larsen & Turbo, and 10 for Infosys.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for boys and girls as well as seperate hostel for seniors and juniors. But the quality of food is not so good in the mess. Our college has a library which is very helpful for students. In this college medical facilities are also provided .
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and qualified. They are very helpful. Some teachers have great knowledge in the specific field. They have lots of teaching experience. Some teachers are from IITs and NITs, so they are very talented. The semester exams are not so difficult, the pass percentage is 80 -85%.
Other: I selected this particular course because I am incredibly interested in technology and machinery. I enjoy reading and studying technology. KAUSHLAM, a college technology festival, was held. We have reliable Wi-Fi connectivity at this university. There are events like debet seminars and professional lectures organised here under extracurricular activities.

Review of Government Engineering College, Bilaspur.
Placements: Very few companies visit our campus for recruitment. Since 2016, our college has failed to get its students placed in different companies. So, unfortunately, maximum students have to opt for higher studies or prepare for higher competitive government exams. The only company that visits our campus is S.K. Samanta Pvt Ltd, which offers a salary package of 1.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small compared to other private colleges in the city. Proper facilities are not provided inside the campus. Since I was a day scholar, I don't know about the hostel and mess facilities available inside the campus. However, the sports ground and other amenities are provided to students.
Faculty: Faculty members and guest lecture sessions were great here. Faculty members are helpful and well qualified in their domain subjects. They are knowledgeable also, and their teaching quality is also up to the mark. This course is definitely relevant only if you wish to opt for higher studies or want to apply for a government job. Semester exams are very easy to pass, and almost every student from our class manages to get pass marks.

Our college and faculty members are good. The library for general students is not good.
Placements: There are no-campus placements for electrical students, and they are available only for the computer and IT branches. One company named Zimetrics visited this year for computer science and information technology branch, and it offered a decent salary package of 3.5 LPA. Only 4 students got selected from our branch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The 1st-year hostel is superb, while for the 2nd-year hostel, I would give a rating of 1 star out of 5 stars. The mess is private, and it is good. In the library, there is caste injustice to general students. Sports and canteen facility are available, and the training facility is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good here. They are highly qualified, and their teaching quality is good. It depends only on students that if they attend classes, then teachers are always ready to conduct the class. Teachers really do hard work to teach, and sometimes, they conduct extra classes for completion of the course.

I'm satisfied with the faculty members but it's not really good for placements.
Placements: As it is a government college, the placement is not so good, but our college is trying to bring companies for the placements. Some of our senior batch students got placed in reputed companies like Samanta Pvt. Ltd., HCL technologies, JMS mining services Pvt. Ltd, etc. The highest salary offered to the students is more than 3 LPA. Our college has a placement cell but not much active.
Infrastructure: As it is a very old college, it has a very poor infrastructure. The buildings were made in 1964 but college is now renovating it. Wi-Fi is there in the campus. The library has insufficient books for the students. The condition of labs is bad but is being improved. New hostels are also made for the new students. There were not many issues with the infrastructure.
Faculty: There are well-qualified faculty members in our college though, there is some shortage of faculty which has been filled now. The college is improving with smart boards in every class which is an easier way for students to understand more about the subject. Our college also takes us to the industries and for training.
Other: Not many extracurricular activities are held in our college, but college does provide facilities to go to other colleges for the tournaments. College also organises a technical fest every year called Kaushalam which is improving every year. SC/ST, OBC students and the year topper get scholarships every year.
