College campus life and infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this college is 75%. The highest placement on campus is 18,00,000, and the average placement is 2,50,000. The percentage of students who got internships from the course is 89%. Overall, the placement cell is nice, and many companies come to our campus.
Infrastructure: The courses are very good in this college, especially electrical engineering. The Wi-Fi facility is excellent, with good connectivity throughout the campus. The classrooms are also well-equipped, and the library is beneficial for students as it remains open for studying.
Faculty: The faculty is very educated and cooperative, helping students enhance their learning skills. The faculty in electrical engineering is particularly the best on campus, and the exam pattern is well-structured, as decided by the faculty.

Unfiltered Thoughts: My Time at GBPIET Pauri Garhwal
Placements: I am pursuing my B.Tech course in Electrical Engineering from GBPIET Pauri Garhwal. The placement record of my college is average; it largely depends on the market conditions. During a recession, placements can decline, while in better times, the placement record is quite average. The overall average package of the college is around 3.5 Lacs, with the highest package reaching up to 12 LPA. The placement depends on the timing, crowd, and companies visiting the campus. Top recruiting companies for my course include Bel, Wipro, TCS, and L&T. There aren't many companies offering internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with buildings that were constructed around 30 years ago in 1984. The buildings are strong and spacious, and the college is spread over a wide area. All facilities, including hostels and canteens, are provided within the college campus.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced, supportive, and good-natured, assisting in both academic and personal areas of life. Most faculty members come from reputed institutes like IITs and NITs. However, the education system mostly covers content that was taught in their time, with new subjects added over time to match the demand in the field.

It's a very beautiful environment, as it's surrounded by greenery.
Placements: The placement of college is average in electrical branch, which is upto you. Most companies visit there and placement is below average. If you are interested, you can get data on the college website. Last year, the highest package from my branch is 6.4 LPA. And the lowest is 3 LPA, approximately.
Infrastructure: The classroom is good and well furnished and Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel and classroom but the hostel condition is not very much good but yes, it is good in comparison as it is a government college. The food in the mess is average, the sports facilities are bad and the medical facilities are also not very good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful; they also guide you for your placements and they are all well qualified and make full efforts in teaching. The semester exam is moderate, and it's easy to pass if you go through your previous year's question paper for your respective branch.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in my branch and I love electrical machines so this is my main motto for this course. The best thing about my course is that it is one of the hardest among all branches. There are frequent events every week and the fest happens once a year. The campus weather is beautiful. And if you love nature, you can opt for this college .

If you are choosing B.Tech, you can definitely do it here.
Placements: The placement was very good last year.100% placement in mechanical branch and 75% placement in electrical branch. Also, other co-curricular activities are going so well. If you maintain your CGPA at least 7 or above, you are the one who gets the best opportunity, or if you have brilliant speaking skills, then the stage is yours. Cisco, Amazon, Infosys, and other sales companies will be here every year.
Infrastructure: Very supportive and good facilities are provided to students in the hostel. Like in hilly areas, some regular problems were there, but there are all facilities available. There are 7 branches; all branches are excellent, and there are a total 14 hostels. Mess food is awesome.
Faculty: Supportive faculty and highly educated. All the syllabus was declared by the UTU, and this college is autonomous, and faculty give very good responses to student problems. Experienced faculty never take seriously all classes. End-of-semester exams are not difficult; whatever your faculty said, you always find that in your question paper.
Other: The view and the environment are beautiful and lovely. You find pace here—no noise, totally silent place. And the Himalayan scenes are unbelievable.

College Review on GBPIET.
Placements: The placements of this college are not that good. Only some students get placed. You have to study hard and smart to get into the top students of your branch and placement. This college does not provide internships, but you can search online for them and apply for them. An internship gives students an opportunity for career exploration and development and to learn new skills. You can also earn money from internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. Departments and lecture rooms are good. Lecture rooms are equipped with a white board and a smart board. Lecture rooms and hostel rooms do not have ceiling fans, so bring your own table fan for hostel rooms. All branches have different departments. Wi-Fi facilities are available in departments and hostels but not in some floors of hostels. The library of this college is good. They will have daily newspapers and magazines for your other job-related exams, and you will find mostly books related to your course. You will have to make a library card for Rs. 50, which will be for the entire duration of your course. You can borrow books from the library by your library card for 15 days, and after 15 days, you can renew them for more days.
Faculty: In this college, there are professors and some guest faculty available. There are different facilities for taking lectures and labs. But in some labs, they will not teach you experiments properly; sometimes, they just want to finish the experiment quickly without giving proper information about the experiment. There are two class tests(CTs) held in a single semester. Each class test carries 15 marks, so two class tests carry 15+15=30 marks in a single semester. If any student is unable to attend the CT or got less marks in the previous CT, then their respective subject teacher will conduct class test 3 for students.
Other: I chose this B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering course because Electrical Engineering is a core branch of B.Tech., so that I can also apply for government jobs through this branch.
