The college has good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In Delhi University, classes for post-graduate courses are held in the respective departmental blocks. Colleges are only for registration and affiliation. The faculty are also from the department of Zoology (as in my case). There were no placements at all.
Infrastructure: The department of Zoology, DU has a very good infrastructure. It is user-friendly and inclusive. The building has lifts and also ramps for differently abled students. Labs are well-equipped and have all the machines and apparatus to do the research work also. The library houses a very good collection of books of Indian as well as foreign authors. There was no canteen, nor any hostel facility as such. During our tenure, the only problem was with the lack of canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members were extremely talented and qualified. They were reputed professors having vast knowledge and experience. They were helpful. Teaching quality was good. Many teachers were available to teach a single subject. The course curriculum was helpful as it gave me vast knowledge.
Other: The campus is good and so are the students. All are very disciplined and focused. There were no co-curricular activities conducted. Only the annual cultural fest is conducted. The campus is near to the metro station and is well connected. The department is surrounded by lush green gardens giving a serene and refreshing environment.

Hansraj College is with the least flaws, and it is a good college.
Placements: Since I was from the zoology department, there were no companies regarding it, but many commerce companies visited in previous placements to our college, such as Deloitte, McKinsey, KPMG, etc. Our friend Vinayak Khandelwal had got placed in one of the companies with a salary package of 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are much better than the other colleges. Wi-Fi availability and connectivity are quite impressive in college. There are many labs with good types of equipment. There is a fully digitalised library. The college has also got an extra cabin of medical facilities near the auditorium. Hostel rooms aren't that good in the college because the ceiling fell off. The food in the college canteen is delicious and affordable. We faced the infrastructure-related issue in the last one year continuously as there was going some reconstruction work.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified, intelligent and smart. The teachers here use creative methods thoroughly, which is excellent. The student to faculty ratio here is around 50:1. I did get the industry exposure as we have introduced with many department trips to like bird sanctuary or got us to have the seminars related to our field.
Other: Once a month, some events are conducted regarding department, society or college programmes. The campus crowd is good. The connectivity is too impressive as every possible needed thing are available in the 100 meters of range. The college also provides scholarships. The college always conducts the extracurricular activities.

No, class 12th marks are not needed. If you are not a graduate of Delhi University, the admission is purely entrance-based.
