AN overview of Hansraj College.
Placements: Commerce students do get good placements from Hansraj College. Our college also makes great options for UPSC government exams and further studies. Many students end up getting admission in IITs and similar good institutions. I will proceed with doing CA or something similar.
Infrastructure: In the entire north campus, our college has one of the best infrastructure. Facilities of Wi-Fi, labs, classes and library are good but the Physics labs are not much good. Classes do have ACs and the library is very good. Hostel facilities and canteen are present in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is overall great. The course is curriculum relevant but it does not make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not too difficult but it is hard to score good marks in them.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Hansraj College overall placements are quite nice, but the placements in this course were quite average. In this course, you need higher education. In our college, there was a dedicated society called the placement cell, where you can enhance your skills and upskill your future.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available for boys, and the girls' hostel is under construction and will be available in the next batches. The course is very extensive and informative. You get interactive classes with your professors, and there are many activities like presentations, debates, etc.
Faculty: There are exams held two times a year for semesters. Throughout the course, there can be class tests, assessment exams, and presentations, research papers, and dissertations happening throughout the semester. The faculty is not very nice, at least in my course. But I would recommend this college because you will enjoy it here a lot.

Also, annual fests and freshers' parties are organized in my college.
Placements: My course has a very low placement percentage, but we get internships in various companies according to our interests in fields like social media, coding, etc. Many companies visit my college, but it depends on our skills to help us secure placements; the college name doesn't significantly aid in the process.
Infrastructure: The hostel at our college is very good, but the seats are limited, so they allocate space to 1-2 persons in every course based on their marks. The mess food is really good; they provide healthy meals and a variety of dishes. The hostel also has designated game times.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The semester exams are neither too tough nor too easy. The passing criteria is approximately 4 CGPA in a year, and the exams are held twice a year, i.e., semester-wise. The teachers also involve us in extracurricular activities; many camps are held at our college, and they give us the chance to manage those events.
Other: Currently, I'm in my second year, and the duration of the programming courses has been extended since students can complete their college in either three or four years. After four years, a person will receive the honors degree.

My experience in college was nice, and the environment in college is nice.
Placements: There is an Internship cell also in the college. It also works like a placement cell. There are many companies collaborating with the internship cell. The average stipend is around 5,000-15,000. Here, you will find everything you want in a college and college life.
Infrastructure: There is an annual cultural fest of Hansraj College called 'Confluence'. It's a center of attraction for other college students also. The library of Hansraj has a huge capacity and a wide range of books in it. There is a physical and sports society also. There are many societies, including NSS, NCC, etc.
Faculty: The college has enough faculty for each department. Personally, my faculty was very nice. I must say they are very encouraging. They are always helpful with every problem. They always listen to us and give their best in every lecture. I would mention some of my favorite professors: Dr. Preeti Dharmarha, Dr. Jyoti Bhola, Dr. Ashima, Dr. Amita Agarwal, Dr. Mukund Mishra, Dr. Arvind Yadav, Dr. Rakesh Batra, Dr. KR Meena, Dr. Ram Pravesh, and more. They are all very nice and my all-time favorite professors.

Humara Hansraj - My identity!
Placements: As my course is a B.A. program in history+economics, with an economics major, we have an opportunity for placement in top companies that offer the highest packages. You have an opportunity to do internships with the guidance of top companies' mentorship programs, which is helpful in your future life.
Infrastructure: We have a departmental society where we have many opportunities, and we have a separate departmental room. Wi-Fi is provided on the college campus and in the library, and we also have access to many books. We have medical facilities and a sports ground in our college, and the canteen food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified; they provide their best efforts to us. This course is suitable for those students who want to go into civil services or the private sector. The semester exams are manageable, not so difficult if you study regularly, and the minimum pass percentage is 55-65%.
Other: I chose this course to crack the civil services exam, and the best thing about this course is that it covers all the bases for competitive exams. The Hansraj College fest, Confluence, is very exciting and entertaining. The students participate in extracurricular activities, which gives them opportunities in those fields as well.

The average package for Computer Science graduates from Hansraj College is competitive, often ranging between 8 to 15 LPA, with top offers exceeding this range.

Hansraj College boasts a well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, journals, and e-resources, and hostel facilities for both male and female students. The college has extensive sports infrastructure, including a large playground, basketball courts, a gymnasium, and facilities for indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in my course; you need to attend the classes regularly. Courses on C+, Java, Python, and other programming languages form the backbone of the curriculum, equipping students with essential coding skills. Last year cutoff for B.Com (Hons) in Hansraj College was 792 marks in CUET. So looking at previous cutoff it seems difficult in general category. Still you should apply or you can select any other good north campus of DU.
