It is a very beautiful college.
Placements: Job fairs were organised in our college twice a year. Many students got jobs from various reputed companies. The roles offered in our course were senior accountant, junior accountant, assistant accountant, financial advisory, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in our college. There were ten big classrooms and a scientific laboratory. A hostel facility was not provided in our college. Canteen and medical facilities were available. Sports are held in January every year. Our campus was clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and had multiple degrees like Ph.D., M.Ed, etc. The teaching quality was very good. Students who graduated from this college were working in good places. Semester exams conducted were moderate. The pass percentage was 35%.
Other: Our college was very good for students who can't get admission to big colleges. Many students study at this college. The campus was crowded every day. Scholarships like Kanyashree, Oikyasree, Shikshasree, etc., were provided for the students. Around 70% of students took admission to our college.

Good faculty, regular classes but requires some improvements.
Placements: Doesn't offer campus placement as during our time we didn't get to see any companies coming to take students. The college can definitely tie-up with companies to offer jobs as there are many students who have the potential for taking up such jobs after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not too good. The library does offer books related to the courses and the topics but the college offered no Wi-Fi during our times. The canteen is okay but not up to the mark. The college encourages sports and games through events.
Faculty: Good faculty. Some of them really are helpful and highly qualified. Meanwhile, some were equally biased. But overall the faculty is really knowledgeable and experienced.
Other: I chose marketing in the college because the teachers from that department were really very good infact they were highly qualified. The concept of two subjects in one paper could be done away with. College crowd was good too.

I feel very proud to be a part of Heramba Chandra College.
Placements: Only 10-15% of the students got placed. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs.15,000 per month. The average salary offered was about Rs. 18000 per month. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Airtel, Agwin. Top roles offered in our courses were various opportunities to attend seminars by various delegates from over the country. I don't have much idea about the internships offered to students, but very few students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good, but nowadays the basic needs like Wi-Fi, medical facilities, mineral water is available. Labs and classroom are good and clean, but classroom facilities are average. The quality of the food served in the canteen is average. Hostels room are available near the college, and it is affordable for students. I have never faced infrastructure issues until now.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us carefully. Some teachers are friendly. The course curriculum is relevant. The college conduct seminars for students that give extra exposure. I feel that the course offered are very student-friendly.
Other: I choose that course because it is a well-known college for offering B.Com and faculty members are very helpful. I guess a bit more improvement in technology like Educomp and other media-related technology that will help students to relate to chapters more quickly. Fests organised in our college is very famous as celebrities are invited from Kolkata. Sometimes environmental activities are conducted by the college, and many more extra things are also conducted. There is a scholarship programme Kanyashree for girls, which is very helpful.

Overall, I had a very good experience during my studies.
Placements: There weren't any placements that happened, and this scenario is very similar to the usual trend with B.Com colleges. I do not know about any placement cell of the college. However, the Heramba Chandra College has a good reputation, which helps the students to secure a job once they pass out.
Infrastructure: The Campus is big with large classrooms, a library, a ground and canteen. The quality of the food is pretty decent. The quality of the classrooms is good, and the classrooms are huge with benches. The college gives you an experience of old days as it was established a long time back.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is nice. I don't know about the student-faculty ratio. They need to provide the industry exposure, and the college doesn't even organise any placement drives.
Other: Everything in this college is great, and even the connectivity is great as the college is located in a prime location.

Satisfied with the faculty, College is a good place to be. Placement are quite good.
Placements: As it is a Bachelor degree the pass outs didn't get job banking high salary. But the companies like TCS and some airlines company came for recruitment. Nearly 30-40 % gets placement. The rest may not participate in the placement procedure as they want to go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, geography lab is there, computer lab is there ( AC). Whole college is not air conditioned. There's a common room which has carrom boards, a union room where student union meetings are held. There's a small ground where students can play. Rooms are spacious. There are smart classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty is extremely good. They are very helpful. They help us a lot to tackle the vast Calcutta University's syllabus. The course curriculum is not a burden because the way in which the faculty handles the pressure and deals with the students is exceptional.
Other: Fest named Chemfluence takes place once a year, freshers party called Aura. Crowd of the campus is quite good. There is scope of scholarship. Extra curricular activities are also there.

I would advise you to go for B.Com(Hons). The syllabus of B.Com(Hons) is quite advanced in comparison of simple B.Com(pass). Even if you do B.Com(Hons) from a slightly less better college, you will have more exposure and knowledge comapred to B.Com(pass) students. Also when you apply for higher stud
