A honest review on Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: Overall, the placements for 2016 and 2017 batches were good. In 2017, around 505 students were hired by TCS (from all the stream of B.Tech). Many other IT companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, and Capgemini also hired a good number of students from ECE, CSE, and IT stream. For chemical engineering, core placements were mainly in Linde India, PCBL, Berger Paints, VA Tech Wabag, and Durgapur Cements. From chemical engineering stream, almost 90 percent of the eligible candidates got placed in the year...

Hitk= Good Infrastructure+ awesome faculty members+ lots of friends+macha+ canteen and so on.

Placements: Placement were pretty good for our batch and for previous batches also. TCS and other software companies came during the time of campus placement. Also core companies came to hire students from particular branches. Software companies mainly offered software developer and associate software engineer roles. About 30% students are now an intern in several companies.

It should be preferred over other private colleges due to aforementioned and good infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the seniors got placed in IT companies. TCS is a mass recruiter, it took 510 students. Domains are IT, ITIS, EIS, and digital enterprise. Other companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, ITC Infotech Limited, BYJUs (took only one student), etc., came to the college. Production and manufacturing firms like Godrej, Ideal properties, Philips Carbon Black Limited, and BRG Iron and Steel came to the college. Consultancy firms like Rank Consultancy, Value Labs, Apt Source, and Software Private L...

Nice place to study and fulfill your dreams.

Placements: The placement is quite impressive compare to the other college which we can get from WBJEE. But there aren't many companies which are related to core department. But almost 85% to 90% student get a chance to secure their future. Mainly TCS, Tech mahindra come to our College.

Absolutely Satisfied because of teachers and environment.

Placements: Only one is placed, rest of others waiting for the company but it is good for B.Tech near about all of them are placed and good thing is lots of MNC company is visiting. They also provides pre-training for the placement. If talk about the percentage of placement it's near about 90%. Average salary package is 3.2 Lacs for B.Tech and 4.2 Lacs for M.Tech.

Overall, it is a good college with the best infrastructure and all other facilities.

Placements: The college provides average placements for all the branches except the civil and mechanical departments. TCS is the mass recruiting company that often visits our college. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA approximately, those who prefer to get an internship from college, they get it very well, but no stipend is offered. The placement cell faculty are good, and it's very useful.

So Its better to come and see our HITk campus.

Placements: The placement is quite good. Its about 85%. But the package is little bit low. Mainly mass recruitment is done By TCS. Whose monthly salary is about 3.3 lakhs. But most of the students can get a minimum of one job so it is quite good for students. And here the faculty members are very good.

Moderately satisfied, infrastructure is very good, faculty is partial towards some students.

Placements: Almost 85% students get placed every year. Maximum placement is done by TCS. Many other companies such as Wipro, Microsoft (only sometimes)etc. are tied up. Core placement is not so good as people from biotech and civil also have to work in tcs. They don't get the desired job.

Placements: Placements are good. All most all the students get placed at the end of the course. Mass recruitment is done by TCS mainly. Other companies also visit like cognizant, accenture, all solutions, tech Mahindra etc. The training and placement cell of Heritage Institute of Technology is very active and is very communicative. It ensures that every student gets quality opportunity to get placed.

The best private engineering college in Kolkata.

Placements: Most of us were placed in TCS, but people also got into core industries. I don't remember the percentages, but all the students who studied hard got jobs. The salary offered was around 2-5 LPA. The companies like TCS, Godrej, Tech Mahindra, etc., came to the campus. The roles offered as a junior engineer, sales, etc. Almost everybody got internships. I don't remember anybody getting a stipend. There is a placement cell in the college. It is better than most other colleges but not the best.

Faculty members very supportive.

Placements: Placement was very good till last year but unfortunately this year due to many reasons there is reduction in the number of students placed. Anyways college is putting lot of efforts and companies are coming almost every week and hopefully everyone will get placed before course completion.

Worth spending the 4 years.

Placements: In our batch, around 65% of all students are placed as of now. In our immediate senior batch, it was more than 80%. I personally got job offers from 2 companies. Also, I got a paid internship through the placement cell. If you have minimum marks secured and you're from CSE, ECE or IT, you'll certainly get a job.
