Beautiful buildings, less fests, more friends .

Placements: Placement rate is high (more than 80%) but on ground level most of them get 3.5 LPA (CTC) which is quite low. The highest placement was in the year 2022 - 1.2 crores offcampus. Companies like Infosys, Vipro, TCS, Confident etc. Visit. Average placement for B.Teach CSE is 4 LPA.

Really good infrastructure but dissatisfied because of no fest happening.

Placements: My course has not gone through any placement drive, as our course was introduced last year only so we will be the first batch of IoT to be placed in 2026. Our CSE core branch has a very good placement record. And we also expect the same.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 87% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The highest salary package offered off-campus is 1 CPA. Almost 60% of students got internships. Top companies visit our college for placements.

Overall, it is a nice college.

Placements: Approximately 40% to 50% of the students get placed every year, which is not satisfying. However, TCS conducts mass recruitment for students, and Microsoft visited here in the year 2014. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc., visit here for placements. The average salary package offered is in between 4 LPA to 6 LPA, but you can opt for off-campus placements.

Review of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: Mostly information technology roles were offered across companies such as TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. Some core industry jobs were also offered by companies such as Star Cement. Almost 80% of the students from our batch got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 2.4 LPA.

Although HITK is the best private engineering college in the city, overall, it is below par.

Placements: Although nearly every student from our batch got placed, jobs were offered to us mostly by mass recruiters with low salary packages. If any student got placed, then they are not allowed to attend placements further in companies. All roles offered were related to the IT department only. Not many students did internships, and it depends on students whether they want to do it or not. Our college didn't help us with internships at all.

Overall, it is a good college. It might need a bit of improvement to reach among the best.

Placements: Our college's B.Tech batch mostly faces IT jobs, and during 2017, it was compulsory for students to sit for IT jobs even if they are not willing to go to the IT Industry. Generally, IT industries visit here on day 0 of placements, and core profiles mostly come later when more than half of the batch is already placed in the IT field.

Overall the college is very good.

Placements: 55% get placed in mechanical engineering. Package vary from 3.5 Lacs to 7lakh. Some student may get package above 10 Lacs based on their capabilities. Mass recruitment is mainly done by TCS. Almost every student do their own internship. It is not provided by the college.

You can take admission here.

Placements: Here mainly TCS and Infosys comes and it hire students in mass. If you are not able to take admission in good government college then u can take admission in this college. Because here extracurricular activities like fest happens and many clubs according to your interest you can proceed.

We have excellent placements in 2019. The infrastructure is good among other colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Minimum of 70% of students got placed in my course. Most of them got placed in TCS company. This year in off-campus the highest salary offered is 47 LPA for student placed in Microsoft company. The average salary offered is 4-5 LPA. There should be an improvement in providing an internship to the students in the college.

The college is nice but with many flaws.

Placements: It's hard for biotechnology students to get a job in the core sector. But IT companies like TCS and all hire students from our department. However, most of our seniors are either studying abroad or studying in IITs. Our stream is mostly a research-based line, so we don't bother much about placements. This will obviously be an issue for people who want a job after their B.Tech.

Our college is too good then I expect from a private college.

Placements: Placements of Heritage Institute of Technology are the satisfactory but very pathetic condition in the civil department. You can gain knowledge and apply for any government job as a government job is mainly for civil and mechanical boys. You can choose your desired branch with no hesitation.

I was satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2018, really good infrastructure.

Placements: For Civil students, there were no core placements. For CSE, ECE, IT and others, placement is good. They got good salary in respected companies. Students even get an internship in respected companies after the fifth semester. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA.

There is some problem regarding some teachers language. Labs are not good.

Placements: Placements are quite good, and every year more than 60% of the students get placed at different IT companies. Placements in the core branches are few. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Godrej, and Byjus visit the campus for placements but recruit students for sales and marketing.

It is a good college to gain knowledge.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Good MNCs recruited us. The salary package offered was also good. The academic result of the students was also good, and it helped the student very much. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 11 LPA.

It is one of the best colleges.

Placements: There are no placements right now. There were many offers. Almost 70% of our seniors are doing their job. Our college conducts many industries visit. We have conducted many visits to an industrial site like Tata, Mahindra, etc. Everything is too good here. All the facilities are too good. Our teachers are too good. Our principal is too strong.

Everything is average here.

Placements: Mainly IT companies offer placements here. At least they try to give their best. Placements here are above average. Core companies do not offer placements. The completely focus on IT companies. There is no difference for companies of EE and IT. They should emphasise more on inviting core companies. If you want to have a corporate life, then you can join HITK. Undoubtedly, they will offer you a job.
